Galatasaray expects to have more difficult game compare to previous one.
Galatasaray would be resuming its Champions League campaign as it would be playing against group favourites Bayern Munich in Allianz Arena, where it would be getting much more tougher game compare to 2 weeks ago.
Without doubt, strong performance of Galatasaray during previous week against German giant did come with big help from supporters who did play their part and this factor would be missing during this week game where Bayern Munich fans are expected to provide strong support even through there will be expectation of some Galatasaray stadium to be due of Turkish people living there. Coming to Galatasaray, injuries of Mauro Icardi and Fernando Muslera, even if there would be possibly coming into field with needle, could have a negative aspect to both players especially to Icardi who does provide lots of pressure to his body without doubt. Bayern Munich in return would be coming out with stronger squad to previous game as many players recovered from injuries.
Bayern Munich would be coming out as much stronger favourites due of many circumstances and it would be interested to see how Galatasaray would respond.
Besiktas CEO Ahmet Nur Cebi would not run as candidate at election
Besiktas CEO Ahmet Nur Cebi during press conference has officially stated that he would not run as CEO candidate for election on 3rd December.
There were mixed rumours coming out from Cebi front regarding his candidacy or not but it should be not seen as big surprise as there has been talks that he would not run as CEO candidate. It needs to be stated that Cebi did have some good reigns including league title but he has also been known to provide lots of populist talks which didnt affect into reality especially this summer as team has been financially and squad-wise been managed very poorly and poor results which team are experiencing right now are connected to this.
Besiktas hence would be getting to CEO election period as it is expected for CEO candidates to be announced at short time.
Buyukeksi decided to focus into positives rather than negatives.
There was lots of expectations that TFF CEO Mehmet Buyukeksi would be providing some clear statements regarding accusations which are coming from towards his side but instead he decided to focus into positive aspects.
In fact, he did contract himself at press conference as in the start of the conference he did state that decision to run this conference was to reduce rumours which are given him and federation and it would be taking place for 15 days. But afterwards he did decide to focus into positive aspects regarding Euro2024 qualifying and improving academies at the clubs. He did acknoledge issues at referees but didnt provide much information of what is happening, just stating that there is works to solve those issues.
There were some important given by Mehmet Buyukeksi but it didnt provide answers which many awaited at Turkish football community.
