Galatasaray has got an important win thanks to goals from Zaha
Galatasaray has won an important game against Kasimpasa at home ground with 2:1 scoreline thanks to two goals from Zaha as their opponent its needs to be stated did provide some good resistance towards them and has been close to get draw.
With Fenerbahce playing against Trabzonspor during this week and generally continuing its winning run, Galatasaray did come out for the game as every week but it needs to be mentioned that start of the game hasnt been especially well as Kasimpasa did look to be side which did control game and created some opportunities prior to 1st goal from Zaha. Still, Galatasaray when did control ball did provide some patient and creative game and 1st goal as been mentioned did come from Zaha who had provided good shot on to goal. Even through after that goal, Galatasaray didnt necesarilly dominate game during 2nd half, it still has been side which did control game. It needs to be stated that Galatasaray did found goal on right time in 2nd half as Kasimpasa did have good start of 2nd half but with using opportunity from Kasimpasa defensive positioning to Zaha to score onto empty goal. Only issue is that after 2:0 and especially 2:1 it did allow some opportunities to Kasimpasa and hence showed some negative signs defensively.
Kasimpasa it needs to be stated despite of loss did provide pretty good performance and it was clear that side did come into field for at least draw and hence had some good chances but due of some last passes even through were given into right direction has been too much power which hence prevented for opportunity to become even better one. Still, it did show some good performance in overalll.
Galatasaray didnt provide necessarily its best performance compare to previous week but due of very good performance from Zaha and two goals it has managed to keep winning run which has been rose to 10 games back-to-back.
Fenerbahce are favourites despite of defensive issues.
With Fenerbahce winning every single game during this season and Trabzonspor providing unstable performance and even when its wins there is still questions about quality of game it could be noted that Istanbul side would be coming to game as clear favourite.
Stating that, Fenerbahce does have a defensive issue as most of the key defenders are being injured currently and it would be expected for 2 defenders to be starting will be Jayden Oosterwolde who would be moved from midfielder position and Serkan Akaydin who is seen as last reserved defender but did show good performance during Euro2024 qualifiers. When looking at overall, Fenerbahce would be coming out with high confidence, good performance in attack and strong support from its home supporters which are being very important factors as Trabzonspor are lacking those aspects. Therefore, Fenerbahce would be coming as strong favouirtes and would be expected to start game with confident strong attacking for sure.
Fenerbahce could have some issues at defence but still with form of both sides it could be noted that there are being clear favourites.
Trabzonspor could use weakness of defence during Fenerbahce game
In other hand, Trabzonspor are showing some slow improvevements with Abdullah Avci to who this would be 3rd game in this period but there are still not showing strong performance to show resistance.
Saying that, it is known for Trabzonspor that they always tend to show very good performance and extra movitated against Big 3 clubs even when they are going through difficult period and factor that does have defensive issues could let them to show brave football. Meanwhile, there has been statement from Trabzonspor prior to game criticising performance on they 3 games and showed worryingness that this could be repeated in this game. Sadly, this statement is not doing much good especially prior to such important game for both teams and would put pressure towards referees but sadly this is being tactic which been used especially from team which doesnt show good performance prior to important games. Trabzonspor would need to focus to game and see how they beat in form Fenerbahce rather than focus to referees.
Trabzonspor would be expected to be focussed into defensive game and counter-attacks very likely but they would need to use their chances effectively if it wants to get positive result.
