Turkey will play for top spot against Wales while opponent will hope for Euro2024 ticket at last game of qualifying.
Turkish National Team is going to play against Wales in the last qualifying game to Euro2024, as Turkey did arleady got ticket to final tournaments while Wales would need to win and wait for Croatia to lose game to get its ticket.
Turkey would be coming out for getting top spot at the group in the end of the campaign, as it would provide strong advantage at draw for Euro2024 and would lead side to not meet with one of the strongest nations and also get more manageable sides at the group stages. Stating that, Wales would be coming out to get ticket and this factor could be more motivational boost even through if Croatia will get ahead against Armenia as games would be played, realistic scenario without doubt, this would affect morale to Wales and hence led things easier for Turkey. Turkey on their part would end as winner of the group as long as it wins group so its mentality and gameplay quite naturally would not be affected, but Wales performance will be connected to how Croatia are performing in parallel game.
Still looking at how Turkey are performing with Montella and unstable performance of Wales, Turkey are being favourites for the game.
Serdar Adali will work with Riza Calimbay if he wins election
Besiktas CEO candidate Serdar Adali has stated that he did stop looking for coach candidates if he would be winning CEO election as he would like to continue with Riza Calimbay.
With Riza Calimbay playing for Besiktas for his entire playing career and always been close to Besiktas with stating that he would only accept Besiktas offers after Senol Gunes has been sacked has led him to also join strong connection and loyalty to his old club. So, therefore it shouldnt be surprising for both Adali and Arat considering to work with him after being elected to spot.
Whatever would be result of CEO election, it could be stated certainly that Riza Calimbay would be staying as coach as 2024 would start in few months.
Kenan Yildiz could develop to even better player
Turkish National Team player Kenan Yildiz, who did get some noticising performance in recent years, is currently having his best period as player, only being 18-year old, in this period with providing top performance during friendly against Germany.
Playing against country which did help to develop as player, he showed pretty strong confident performance on the field showing his willingness to be in positions and did score an important goal against Germany. Being a player which does develop by game and possibly becoming key player at Juventus in near future, he has lots of potentiality to develop into strong star and be one of the key players not only for Turkey but whole Euro 2024 next summer. Playing in Juventus currently would also help him to develop as player for sure.
Kenan Yildiz is showing right now very good performance and would without doubt develop even more as long as he stays focussed to being football player.
