Montella figured it out how to work with players.
Turkish National Team has shown pretty impressive performance since appointment of Vincenzo Montella and has got undefeated run of 4 games which includes wins against Germany and Croatia and hence does provide lots if optimism for Euro 2024.
Turkey strong performance has been mixed with some quality of players with highly experienced head coach who is familiar with Turkish football and how things are working here among foreign players. One of the main reasons why foreign coaches are not getting good performance both at club and national team level has been of not being aware of how Turkish football working both in culturally and also in players mind. However, Montella during his stay did get an important experience of how to work with Turkish players and hence does provide right amount of confidence boost during training sessions and outisde it, which without doubt provides positivety when players come out to field which in return turns to team showing effective performance and hence result.
Montella as been note did figure out mentality of Turkish players and uses that to get some strong result in the team.
Erick Bailly will not play for 2-weeks.
Besiktas player Erick Bailly has become injured for two weeks during training session and hence has rise number of injured players in the squad which would make Riza Calimbay unhappy.
One of the reasons for poor performance from Besiktas has been number of injured players which without doubt affect performance of the team and with one of the main alternative midfielders Erick Bailly injury would provide some serious issues when coming into fields. Besiktas head coach Riza Calimbay for sure would need to work on alternatives to make best squad he can onto squad.
Bailly in return would need to focus into fast and safe recovery for the sake of the club without doubt.
Real Madrid interested to sign Mauro Icardi
Real Madrid are reported to be interested with Galatasaray Mauro Icardi as if this rumour is true it would be interesting to see how player would respond to such transfer offer.
As it is remembered, Icardi did decline high salary offer from Saudi Arabia during previous summer transfer window but recieving an offer from one of the best clubs in Europe where due of lack of attackers due of injuries is more or less would be secured, could be an offer which is especially hard to decline as he would be aiming to prove himself once again as top player.
Therefore, he did decline transfer offer in summer but with such offer it might be difficult to be loyal to Galatasaray.
