Cengiz Under and Hakan Calhanoglu has been both taken from squad.
Turkish National Team players Hakan Calhanoglu and Cengiz Under have been taken from squad prior to international friendly game against Germany and last qualifying game against Wales.
TFF has announced that Cengiz Under has been included to squad for training sessions prior to games as he has ongoing injury and aim for him to joining team has been to stay fit and check his conditions while Hakan Calhanoglu did get flu but most important has returned to Italy due of his wife being close to be giving birth and quite naturally wanted to be staying close to his wife. This 2 players which normally would seen as starting 11 players absence meanwhile would provide good opportunity to try alternative names in upcoming 2 games.
Unless, there would not be injury both players would very likely be selected to Euro 2024 squad next summer.
Turkish National Team will play to some extend 2 preparating games for Euro2024.

Turkish National Team sadly didnt get to major tournaments in recent years and when it did it provided pretty poor performance and hence team is getting very serious as it keep saying that it really wanted to get ticket there and now for sure it would be aiming to get serious tournament. Germany game would be good opportunity to check its strengths against host of the tournament. Meanwhile, game against Wales could be potentially be game for leadership in the group which would provide advantage at Euro 2024 group draw and hence could not be a formality game and hence would lead Turkey to show strong effective game.
Hence, this upcoming 2 games would be opportunity to check current condition of the two quality sides against who it can potentialy meet at Euro 2024.
Galatasaray has reduced transfer fee of Victor Nelsson to 20 million euro
Galatasaray has reduced transfer fee of its player Victor Nelsson from 25 million euro to 20 million euro due of poor performance of the player in the season and player stating publicly that he wants to leave team during mid-season break.
With signing some quality of players at defence, Galatasaray has reduced time of Victor Nelsson which quite understandably has reduced motivation for himself and he is currently does consider to leave team in mid-season transfer window as he doesnt see future there. Without doubt, Galatasaray being aware both that this set of mind would not provide good performance as it arleady did and also potential reduction of his value has made decision to sell him during this mid-season transfer window with some clubs showing interest arleady.
