Super sub Gomis brings crucial win during opening week game.
Bafetembi Gomis has turned out to be super sub as he did score as soon as he entered to the field with finding winning goal against Antalyaspor at what tend to be highly competitive game.
As it is known, following dissapointing previous season Galatasaray has been seeing this season as new beginning for them and also aiming to be one of the title contenters with providing top level game. Besiktas didnt look in great view during opening week.
Even through Besiktas did start its new season with a win against Kayserispor thanks to the goal from Rachid Ghezzal on 90+6 minute, it needs to be mentioned that side did provide pretty dissapointing performance.
It needs to be mentioned that until red card of the Kayserispor player at 67th minute, Besiktas did have an issue to get opportunities and control of the game while opponent has provided strong defensive game and also good attacking game. In fact, during 1st half of the game Kayserispor has been looked more organised and had got better opportunities and just lacked final touches in the shot. It does look like Besiktas would need time for side to get adapted into top level performance but if it continues to provide such performance, it could be having some issues in duration of whole season without doubt.
Besiktas performance against Kayserispor did raise some questions and worrying signs to its supporters and side would need to find ways how to show much more effective game in attack.
Fenerbahce will start season against promoted Umraniyespor
Fenerbahce would be starting its new season campaign with promoted side of Umraniyespor as side will be coming out as favourites for the game at home ground.
Fenerbahce is being among 3 clubs which would be playing its 4th official game due of European games and hence would be physically and mentally in better condition compare to other title contenders. In addition, it would be coming out in better mental form after it did get confident win against Slovacko at Europa League 2nd qualifier.
