Gomis once again got an important goal for Galatasaray

Bafetembi Gomis, in similar manner as it was against Antalyaspor, has become super sub during Super League 3rd week as he scored a winning goal at 86th minute after coming out of substitute few minutes as Galatasaray in overall provided pretty poor game.

Looking at the game neutrally, it could be noted that Galatasaray didnt do much to win game as it provided low tempo game without much organisation in its attack and apart of winning shot from Gomis has wasted lots of the opportunities during whole game. Even through Galatasaray did win its 2nd game in the season, it could be noted that in whole 3 games it did lack needed tempo and creativity. Such low tempo without doubt went into hand of Umraniyespor, who did get also some good opportunities but did lack with finding final shots on the goal. Galatasaray has also made high number of mistakes during passing game which has shown that many players were not focussed to the game. Only player who did looked to be focussed is Bafetembi Gomis. To some extend Gomis deserved to find such crucial goal, but whole team didnt deserve to win game.

Umraniyespor despite of newcomers were able to play in similar tempo with Galatasaray and prevent opponent to get into much chances. If it used its opportunities much better Umraniyespor would be able to get at least draw in this game.

Galatasaray has managed to win game against Umraniyespor but its performance does provide some worrying signs which needs to be worked on by Okan Buruk without doubt.

Fenerbahce got result which it seeked for despite of big rotation.

Fenerbahce got a confident win against Austria Wien in Vienna with 2:0 scoreline with showing full control of the game even through side did go through big rotation, with changing 7 players.

Even through some of the Turkish pundits did criticise Jorge Jesus for changing 7 players which  they believed has affected negatively to side performance as it could have shown much more attacking game, we would like to note that he did get results which has been an area which he has seeking for without doubt. Without doubt, Joshua King on 8th minute did play an important role for rest of the game as Austria Wien did have an issue to respond to this conceded goal. Meanwhile, it needs to be praised a reaction of Austria Wien as it has apologized to club and everyone for an issue of Altay Bayindir due of item hitting which did come from Austria Wien supporters.

Therefore, Fenerbahce did result which it seeked for and would be coming out during 2nd leg with big advantage and not much pressure.

Malmo did provide much better performance compare to Sivasspor.

Sivasspor didnt have a good start of the Europa League as it did lose to Swedish champions Malmo with 3:1 scoreline and hence continues dissapointing performance in the start of the season.

With taking account that Sivasspor did provided poor performance so far during this season without winning single game, it has been expected that side would be having some issues against Malmo. Regardless how much side focusses into Europa League game differently, continuation domestically would have impact to its performance. Malmo looked to be more organised during game which it has used mainly due of their season being in the midway. Malmo has been better side and sadly did get well-deserved win.

Sivasspor needs to improve its performance within week if it wants to get to the group stage of the competition, which looks to be very difficult task for sure.
