Fenerbahce showed some passive game against Slovacko.
Fenerbahce has got into Europa League play-off round with 4:1 aggregate scoreline against Czech Republic, as 2nd leg has been ended with 1:1 scoreline as Fenerbahce has provided much more passive game due of advantage from 1st leg.
With Slovacko not being able to compete much against Fenerbahce, not saying about turning around 3:0 scoreline to its own hand, it has been accepted to some extend for Fenerbahce which did go with lots of rotation to provide controllable game and this has been case for 90 minutes. Stating that it needs to be praised goal which did come from Serdar Dursun which did manage to provide direct strong shot at what could be seen as difficult position without doubt. This has also been his 1st goal during this season which would affect positively without doubt to his confidence. One of the positive aspects has been due of the game been for Arda Guler to get 80 minutes game with getting confident at football field even if it was more or less formality game.
Slovacko due of level of side with Fenerbahce and also outcome being more or less clear has also affected them to provide passive game but did find a goal on 58th minute which does show side didnt aim to lose game.
Fenerbahce hence gets to the play-off round as it would be playing against Austria Vienna where it was would be tougher opponent but still it would be coming as favourite.
Vaduz provides big shocker to Konyaspor.
Konyaspor has got a surprising result against Liechenstein side Vaduz as it lost at home ground with 4:1 scoreline and hence being relegated with 5:2 scoreline. Such an outcome didnt only surprise Turkish football community but also whole Europe without doubt.
Even if Konyaspor did get draw during 1st leg, there has been expectation that Konyaspor would provide much better performance and it didnt start game pretty badly and did found goal on 18th minute which has been expected would turn into advantage and hand to Konyaspor. But quite interestingly game has changed around entirely as Vaduz did score 2 goals in duration of 10 minutes and has looked to be much more effective with Konyaspor not being able to stop its opponents. Konyaspor to some extend can blame condition of the field, but once again Vaduz did play on same field and has scored 4 goals and with side being less favourite such outcome could not be acceptable in whatever excuses.
Vaduz did come to this draw as underdogs but it didnt look like one with providing effective and confident performance and has scored in duration of 2 games 5 goals against side which did come out with high European aims so such outcome is being impressive without doubt.
Konyaspor hence did get outcome which has been highly shocking for Konyaspor and does raise questions how much team has been ready to compete for European football as it got relegated with such scoreline.
Basaksehirspor gets to the play-off round without much issues.
Basaksehirspor gets to the play-off round stage of the Conference League after getting confident win against Breidablik winning 2nd leg with 3:0 scoreline and getting an aggregate scoreline of 6:1.
As been noted beforehand Basaksehirspor has been improving by each game during this season and did come to this game with high confidence after winning 1st leg with 3:0 scoreline and later in the opening week of the season beating Kasimpasa with 4:0 scoreline. Basaksehirspor hence did provide in such matter with providing some confident performance but more controllable but Okaka did use his opportunity to find 1st goal of the game which provided even more confidence and attacking game for 2nd half. Therefore, Basaksehirspor has continued showing strong attacking game as both Touba and in-form Aleksic did find goals and got confident outcome from both games.
Breidablik it needs to be noted did come out to Basaksehirspor game in good form and motivation but couldnt provide much resistance to attacking game with quality between both sides squad has played a key role.
Basaksehirspor hence did manage to get to the play-off round and strong and confident performance as it would be now meeting with Belgian side Antwerp as it is expected to be tough fixture for Basaksehirspor.
