What happened in Turkish football today? 28/11/2021

Trabzonspor continues its confident performance in the league.

Trabzonspor continues its confident undefeated run in the Super League this time beating against Fatih Karagumruk showing patient and controllable game.

As been noted in our previous entries, Trabzonspor in recent weeks especially due of opponents getting more focussed and being side to beat did lead them to reduce fast tempo and provide much more controllable and patient with using its opportunities when get strong goal opportunity and providing strong defence. Without doubt, Trabzonspor did show once again to be side which seems to be more organised, motivated and organised side which provides incredible advantage to get wins as it been clear during this game. With scoring on both halves, one from penalty, at the right time without doubt also affects to opponent morale.

Fatih Karagumruk did play with being aware who is opponent and did provide not poor game but couldnt pass organised opponent and did lack some creativity.

Trabzonspor hence continues its aim in confident manner and with this game its unlucky to lose until mid-season break.

Galatasaray continue to get further from top of the league.

Galatasaray continues showing two different performances at Super League and Europa League as it lost 2 points agaist Yeni Malatyaspor and got point difference from Trabzonspor 14 points.

Therefore, Galatasaray continues showing ineffective performancer in domestic league and does provide low tempo game without able to show attacking game which were remembered. In fact, even through Yeni Malatyaspor didnt necessarily been very effective at attack, it did show much more attacking game which did led for them to look much more effective. In addition, 6-game ban from Fatih Terim did also effect to the team as he tends to be strong motivator to the team and this absence would continue to be effect to the side in the style of the game. Therefore, Galatasaray needs to go through why it did provide different game in the league and find solutions.

Yeni Malatyaspor didnt necesarilly didnt provide specifically confident and strong performance but there were moments when it did look compare to Galatasaray and had some positive points for upcoming games.

Galatasaray continues showing decline at domestic league and gets further from race for top spots wihtout doubt.

Besiktas is at lowest point and there is no signs it could be solved easily.

Besiktas continues providing poor performance at the Super League with getting unexpected loss against Giresunspor with 4:0 scoreline and didnt provide any fighting spirit.

Even through until conceding its 1st goal from penalty, Besiktas did provide some good performance with controlling ball and creating some opportunities but it did lose concentration and fighting spirit by conceding each goal and in addition red card from Necip Uysal did affect its game. Without doubt Mert Gunok poor performance with conceding 2 simple goals has also provided motivation to Giresunspor which been highly concentrated and did become more motivated by each goal. Without doubt, main question for Besiktas is being of Sergen Yalcin future in the team as he considers to live side due of poor results even through administration wants to keep him.

Besiktas seems to be having mental crises and sadly its difficult to see that this issue could be solved easily in short period of time.
