Ali Koc doesnt consider to change coaches.
Fenerbahce CEO Ali Koc during his statements stated that he doesnt consider to end contract with head coach Vitor Pereira stating that he has full trust and doesnt look to be healthy for this changes with referring to previous unsuccessful changes.
Ali Koc states that prior to this poor results during last 4 weeks, Fenerbahce have been leaders in the league and was getting good results and despite of side showing some poor results in this weeks, he believes it would be able to start new streak of wins and still could fight for title during this season. In addition, he states that he believes side would be able to win Galatasaray next week but even if it wouldnt able to get positive outcome, he would keep Pereira. However, he does admit that Pereira does need to work more to find out solutions for such poor results in recent weeks. He also adds that there is no issue with coach and Mesut Ozil who currently trying to find ways to use player tactically in upcoming weeks.
Even through this statement might make group of people unhappy, it is being good statement in sense of providing trust and hence let them focus to job both to Pereira and Ozil.
Kayserispor player Manuel Fernandes been taken away from squad due of usage foul language towards coach.
Kayserispor administrator Ali Camdan stated that reason why club player Manuel Fernandes been taken away from squad has been using foul language to head coach Hikmet Karaman.
Without doubt, such disprespectul behaviour from player would not be acceptable as hierarchy between coaches and players should be always present and disrespectul behaviour by any player, whatever his status should be punished. Therefore, Kayserispor did right thing and would be giving strong message to players in the club and in other clubs that such action would not be tolerate it. Right now, Fernandes needs to overthink his behaviour, show respect to decision and provide apology without doubt.
This action as been noted couldnt be tolerated in whatever conditions and Fernandes is paying price for not respecting hierarchy.
Barcelona interested to sign Atilla Szalai
Transfer rumours for Fenerbahce player Atilla Szalai continues to be buidling as this time it is reported that Barcelona are showing interest to sign player.
Starting with top level performance at Euro 2020 with Hungary, there has been strong interest towards Szalai and with him providing top level game in regular bases should not be seen as suprise for Barcelona to show some interested. As it is known, Ali Koc did set transfer fee as 20 million euro and if Barcelona decide purchase him seriously, it wouldnt have much issue to get that price to Fenerbahce.
It does look like Szalai would be actively discussed player during upcoming mid-season transfer window and we would be following developments with player.
