What happened in Turkish football today? 14/11/2021

Turkey had incredible lucky night.

Turkish National Team had the best scenario night as it has managed both to get into 2nd spot in the group during penultimate week with 6:0 win against Gibraltar and now got opportunity to even get direct ticket to Qatar with Holland and Norway ending their games with draw.

Regardless, how opponents did play it was important for Turkey to get confident win against one of the weakest opponents in Europe right now Gibraltar and it just did that as opponent as would been expected did provide organised defensive game but finding goal on 10th minute. In addition, red card which been recieved by Gibraltar, which has been harsh decision, didnt affect to scoreline but possibly made things easier to get 6:0 win which provided with 2nd spot with +1 goal difference against Norway which could be decider in the end. Turkey without doubt did provide high focussed game focussed into its task which without doubt likely to be case due of German discipline brough by Stefan Kuntz.

Right now, Turkey would need to focus to win Montenegro which should be enough for 2nd spot and possibly direct entry to World Cup 2022.

Everything in Group G will be decided on 16th November.

With most people prior to this games had pretty pessimistic hope of getting 2nd spot in this group at 19:59, at midnight has managed to be doing positive hope of ending group as leaders and get direct entry.

It is without doubt one of the biggest advantages for Turkey is that both Norway and Holland will be playing against each other which means one of the opponents at least will be losing points with Turkey playing against Montenegro which did lose all chances for top 2 spots. Turkey task could be only get complicated if Norway does score more goals than did Turkey which is due of goal differnence for getting top spot. In whatever outcomes from that game, still it is important for Turkey to win Montenegro as all this equations will go to nothing even through it still can get 2nd spot if it losses and so would Norway.

Without doubt, we would be experiencing exciting 90 minutes on 16th November with top team could be frequently changing on the night.

Galatasaray are interested to sign Marko Livaja

It is reported that Galatasaray has also joined into transfer fight for Hajduk Split player following Besiktas and Trabzonspor.

Marko Livaja who is seen to be having huge potential in upcoming years, did due of that get some interests among top clubs and it does look there could be some fight between them among with possible addition from European clubs during mid-season transfer window and Hajduk Split on their part will not likely to be selling him for cheap and hence he could player which would be actively discussed during winter.

Hence, there would be fight for him during mid-season transfer window and we would follow action done towards him by Turkish clubs.
