What happened in Turkish football today? 29/07/2021

Sivasspor gets win against Petrocub with again minumum outcome.

Sivasspor gets to 3rd qualifying round after beating Moldavian side Petrocub with 1:0 scoreline after 2nd leg and with aggregate scoreline of 2:0 as side continues to be most successful side at Europe even through it didnt show strong dominance in the game.

As would be remembered from our readers, this blog did criticise side for not providing enough strong attacking game against Petrocub during 1st leg game and it could be stated that similar been case during this leg where Sivasspor didnt provide enough strong pressure to Petrocub as in some moments game been played at the middle with opponents struggling with last touches. Therefore, this been good news that Sivasspor did get into next stage but it does need to identify some negative aspects of this game and focus into how it could solve them as it did fail to get upper hand which it seeked for without doubt. Still, Kayode use of opportunity which it did get did been used effectively but without doubt Sivasspor would needed to get much more confident scoreline in the end of the day for sure.

Petrocub it needs to be admitted did provide some good resistance against Sivasspor without being too far from them in performance level but without doubt did lack to get last touches in its opportunities.

Sivasspor did provide good result but needs to improve with performance as it is stronger than Dinamo Batumi but is being much more stronger opponent compare to Petrocub.

Galatasaray didnt provide much winning spirit against PSV Eindhoven.

Even through it could be stated that Galatasaray did provide bit more better performance during Champions League 2nd qualifier 2nd leg game against PSV Eindhoven, is still did show more or less unsatisfactorily performance.

It also needs to be noted that due of confident scoreline which been get from 1st leg, PSV Eindhoven did show much more slower game which to some extend that Galatasaray did prevent PSV to get into high number of opportunities could be also noted due of Dutch side not showing much more attacking game. Galatasaray did provide bit more contollable game but still didnt show performance of side which did aim at least to get win even if not winning tie as it did look to be pretty slow and this game did show it needs to be focussing with improving its performance for Super League.

Galatasaray would be meeting with St.Johnstone at Europa League and it could have some trouble against them too.

Yeni Malatyaspor has loaned Basaksehirspor player Muhammed Emin Sarikaya

Yeni Malatyaspor has loaned Basaksehirspor player Muhammed Emin Sarikaya as young player would be able to get more playing time and experience at mediocre side.

This loan deal to some extend is going to basic idea of such option as Sarikaya is being player with high potential but it is unlikely to get much playing time while Yeni Malatyaspor would be expected for him to get nice time to play and develop into strong confident player helping Yeni Malatyaspor with likely high aim to get its 1st aim of not being relegated and end more into mid-standings in the upcoming season. Therefore, this has been good transfer move for all 3 parties as Yeni Malatyaspor did get potential strong player, Basaksehirspor got its player to get some playing time while player gets playing time.

Therefore, this is been very effective loan deal for all parties involved for sure.
