What happened in Turkish football today? 02/07/2021

Kasimpasa has signed Mortadha Ben Ounes for 2+1 years.

Kasimpasa has transferred Es Sahel player Mortadha Ben Ounes for 2+1 years who did show strong performance at Tunisian league in previous season but there are question if player would be in level for Super League.

With summer transfer window slowly getting into more and more active condition with clubs focussing into getting its key players prior to start of the new season, those clubs without doubt also being focussed into keeping its players into level which could be useful for club and also not affect very negatively to finances. Therefore, this does lead for sides like Kasimpasa into focussing into transfers of players from leagues like Tunisia as player did show some good performance with Es Sahil during previous season and does have good potential with being young player but even through Super League in all fairness couldnt be seen as one of the top leagues it still much higher level then Tunisia so it would unclear if he would be able to show performance which could be acceptable in such level.

Time would show how successful he would be in his new club and league but as been noted there is some potentiality for player to fulfill expectations.

Sivasspor extended contract with Isaac Cofie.

Sivasspor has extended contract with its player Isaac Cofie for 2-years as player did show very good performance in previous seasons and did play important role for side to end at Conference League spot in last season.

Isaac Cofie without doubt being one of the strongest players at Sivasspor during past seasons with showing some ongoing static high level game which without doubt did play important role for side to extend contract with him. It is expected that with Sivasspor likely focussing into getting to group stage of Sivasspor and have another successful season in the Super League would be expecting that player would be showing some good performance and as both sides are happy with each other and adapted Colfie would be able to satisfy this expectation.

Sivasspor did make important extension deal with Cofie continuing very likely to provide top level  game for his side in upcoming season.

Basaksehirspor has ended contract with Guiliano

Basaksehirspor has ended contract with its player Guiliano as he didnt provide very good performance in previous season as player without doubt is being on decline with his performance in recent years.

Guiliano did join to Basaksehirspor with high expectations and did provide some good performance in some of the games but in overall he didnt get into level which been expected from him without helping for side to have better season even through its been unsatisfactorily poor performance by everyone in previous season. Still, if team would look forward to get once again into higher spots in upcoming season it does need to do some revision in its squad and foremost it needs to end contracts with players who didnt satisfy its performance such as Guiliano which is did.

With being still some early days it would be interesting to see what other changes with squad would Basaksehirspor make for upcoming season.
