What happened in Turkish football today? 14/07/2021

TFF and Club's Union have communication issue between each other.

TFF has provided response towards Clubs Union demand to provide some changes regarding of broadcasting payments, committee appointments, foreign player limit and spending limits stating that it would not be changing them, with also criticising decision to boycott games.

TFF has made it clear that decision which been made has been focussed into development of Turkish football and assistance for Turkish clubs which to some extend is being on place since prior to change clubs has went into difficult economical situation and TFF did make move for clubs to control its situation before it would recieve even more serious fines from UEFA. Even through this blog did criticise highly current federation and still believes that it not run in very good manner, some of the points which it been set are valid. However, it does look there is still issues with communication bridge among clubs and TFF which does create those issues and hence during next season it would be important for them to solve this issue so it wont create newer issues.

Some changes does need to be done for Turkish football without doubt but it should be done with better communication between sides which are involved at solution.

Volkan Demirel left Fenerbahce.

Fenerbahce assistant coach Volkan Demirel who has been protected goal for club during 20 years and been at techical staff for 2 years has announced that he would leave club for self-development.

With Fenerbahce appointing Vitor Pereira as new head coach, there were question if Volkan Demirel would be staying at the club or not, and during press conference with Demirel and CEO Ali Koc it was announced that Demirel would be leaving club for focussing into self-development after being connected to club for lont time. Even through there is belief that he was sacked from club, it is possible that Demirel did wish to focus into personnel development as he mentioned that he focusses into becoming strong coach even 2-years before. Demirel did state that he would be focusisng into coming back to side as head coach in near future but as would be expected would be now seeking for experience.

Volkan Demirel did become legend of the club with his attitude and love to club and would now focussed to open new chapter in his career.

Gaziantep has signed Recep Niyaz for 3-years

Gaziantep has signed Recep Niyaz hence providing important strength to side as player did show strong performance at Fenerbahce before hand regardless of playing time and being one of the key players at Denizlispor.

Recep Niyaz even through did come from side which did end season at last spot, is without doubt is on level of Super League who would be playing at least at side which focussed into mid-tables and with Gaziantep to be side on that level for past 2 seasons would be focussing without doubt to help side to get at European spots and he has all capacity to achieve that without doubt. This being very good transfer for both player and club for sure as side has high aims for next season.

It is pleasant to see Recep Niyaz to continue his career at Super League despite of previous season performance of his club.
