Sivasspor got long-awaited win for Turkish club in Europe.
Sivasspor has brought a win against Petrocub during Conference League 2nd qualifing round 1st leg game with 1:0 scoreline and hence has made Turkish football followers happy following poor results recently at Europe from clubs and national side.
Even through it should be noted that there were expectations to get even more goals and hence confident win against modest opponent, it still needs to be mentioned that SIvasspor has been sided which did control game with creating high amount of opportunities but didnt convert most of the opportunities due of lack of last touches issue which been present in the club for previous season. In addition, poor penalty which been taken in the last minute has prevented for side to get more advantage outcome during 2nd half. Therefore, Sivasspor also didnt look entirely ready for this season but did provide view as expected it would get through Petrocub and provide some positive aspects for upcoming season.
Therefore, Sivasspor did look to be in good condition but without doubt it would need to be improve for 2nd leg as it performance without doubt not being at its highest.
Fenerbahce has taken away 4 players from main squad.
With Fenerbahce having high number of players which it needs to get sell during this summer transfer window, but due of not showing any interests from other clubs would need now to reduce its main squad from Vitor Pereira.
As would be remembered previous reduction of squad has been made by Pereira towards some of the young players which been expected to some extend however taking away players from main squad which took place today has been expected but is much more directly affected to main squad. 4 players which were taken from squad today has been Sadik Ciftpinar, Kemal Ademi, Mame Thiam and Oguz Kagan Guctekin, players which sadly for them have failed to fulfill its expectations on the field and led for Pereira to let them train seperately until someone transfers them, issue which been uncertain right now for sure.
Vitor Pereira still needs to reduce some of the players for final squad and if until now its been expected names right now it would be much more difficult decision which would be decided by performance at training.
Altay has signed Ceyhun Gulselam and Eric Bjornakader.
One of the most quiet sides at transfer front Altay has announced 2 transfers, Ceyhun Gulselam and Eric Bjornkader as side would be focussing to stay at the top league after long absence.
If Bjornkader transfer, player which only played in his country sides, Denmark, all his career does have risks due of inexperience of player and getting adapting to new environment, Gulselam for sure would not have such issue as he is strongly experienced to this league and with this experience would help certainly Altay to get into next level which it performance during next season. Still, Bjornkader is player with high potential and hence would be expected side to provide strong game. To some extend, Altay been quiet at transfer front but with two transfers it made clear it would focus into direct transfers which would affect positively to side.
Altay is likely to make even more transfers during this summer with focussing to make competitive side for Super League next season
