Sivasspor gets to next stage even through it didnt show full dominance against Petrocub.

Sivasspor has won Conference League 2nd qualifying round 2nd leg game against Petrocub with 1:0 scoreline thanks to goal from Kaydoe as side got it next stage with 2:0 even through it did fail to show full domination which been expected during both legs.

Sivasspor did come out as strong favourite for Petrocub and did get win without conceding goal from Moldavian opponent and it did look every moment that it would be getting into next stage of the tournament but as been noted it didnt provide full dominance without converting some opportunities and making some passing mistakes during both legs. Therefore, despite of getting to next stage without much issues it still become clear that side needs to be getting into strong performance level during upcoming games and as it does come out to Dinamo Batumi as strong favourites once again it is being stronger opponent to Petrocub and hence this performance might not be enough for them.

Still, Sivasspor did get outcome which it seeked for but as side needs to provide some improvement for upcoming fixture with Dinamo Batumi.

Fatih Karagumruk signs Medhia Benatia

Fatih Karagumruk had also signed one of the well-known player who is coming into last years of his career with expectations that Mehdia Benatia would be showing strong performance in upcoming season.

Medhia Benatia does have pretty impressive career behind him with showing pretty strong performances in top clubs and hence even if he did lose tempo of his performance, he still would be able to show his crucial skills which would be without doubt very important for Fatih Karagumruk in upcoming season. Therefore, with Fatih Karagumruk very likely focussing into high spots during upcoming season, Benatia with his experience would be helping other players to provide high performance with giving right suggestions during training sessions and games.

Hence, Medhia Benatia might not show best performance which he did in previous years but still it being good transfer for them.

Gaziantep has signed Torgeir Borven for 3-years.

Gaziantep has signed Ankaragucu player Torgeir Borven as he is been one of the players who did provide pretty good performance at Ankaragucu during previous season and is being player in level of Super League.

Torgeir Borven is being player who could provide pretty strong and confident performance at Gaziantep helping side to be showing good results as it would be expected for them to be focussing into European spots after ending in pretty good positions in the Super League during previous 2 season. With Borven also being familiar with this league and expectations which there are for the player would be meaning he could be getting good results in next season.

Hence, Gaziantep did get without doubt good player in its disposal for next season as he would be able to show some confident performance.

In other news:
Besiktas has loaned Sporting Lisbon Valentin Rosier with option to transfer.

Usakspor has loaned Besiktas player Kerem Kalafat

Sivasspor gets win against Petrocub with again minumum outcome.

Sivasspor gets to 3rd qualifying round after beating Moldavian side Petrocub with 1:0 scoreline after 2nd leg and with aggregate scoreline of 2:0 as side continues to be most successful side at Europe even through it didnt show strong dominance in the game.

As would be remembered from our readers, this blog did criticise side for not providing enough strong attacking game against Petrocub during 1st leg game and it could be stated that similar been case during this leg where Sivasspor didnt provide enough strong pressure to Petrocub as in some moments game been played at the middle with opponents struggling with last touches. Therefore, this been good news that Sivasspor did get into next stage but it does need to identify some negative aspects of this game and focus into how it could solve them as it did fail to get upper hand which it seeked for without doubt. Still, Kayode use of opportunity which it did get did been used effectively but without doubt Sivasspor would needed to get much more confident scoreline in the end of the day for sure.

Petrocub it needs to be admitted did provide some good resistance against Sivasspor without being too far from them in performance level but without doubt did lack to get last touches in its opportunities.

Sivasspor did provide good result but needs to improve with performance as it is stronger than Dinamo Batumi but is being much more stronger opponent compare to Petrocub.

Galatasaray didnt provide much winning spirit against PSV Eindhoven.

Even through it could be stated that Galatasaray did provide bit more better performance during Champions League 2nd qualifier 2nd leg game against PSV Eindhoven, is still did show more or less unsatisfactorily performance.

It also needs to be noted that due of confident scoreline which been get from 1st leg, PSV Eindhoven did show much more slower game which to some extend that Galatasaray did prevent PSV to get into high number of opportunities could be also noted due of Dutch side not showing much more attacking game. Galatasaray did provide bit more contollable game but still didnt show performance of side which did aim at least to get win even if not winning tie as it did look to be pretty slow and this game did show it needs to be focussing with improving its performance for Super League.

Galatasaray would be meeting with St.Johnstone at Europa League and it could have some trouble against them too.

Yeni Malatyaspor has loaned Basaksehirspor player Muhammed Emin Sarikaya

Yeni Malatyaspor has loaned Basaksehirspor player Muhammed Emin Sarikaya as young player would be able to get more playing time and experience at mediocre side.

This loan deal to some extend is going to basic idea of such option as Sarikaya is being player with high potential but it is unlikely to get much playing time while Yeni Malatyaspor would be expected for him to get nice time to play and develop into strong confident player helping Yeni Malatyaspor with likely high aim to get its 1st aim of not being relegated and end more into mid-standings in the upcoming season. Therefore, this has been good transfer move for all 3 parties as Yeni Malatyaspor did get potential strong player, Basaksehirspor got its player to get some playing time while player gets playing time.

Therefore, this is been very effective loan deal for all parties involved for sure.

Galatasaray didnt provide much fighting spirit against PSV Eindhoven.

PSV Eindhoven has ended Champions League 2nd qualifying round tie against Galatasaray with 7:2 aggregation scoreline as it did win in Istanbul with 2:1 scoreline with showing better game.

Without doubt, its been difficult task for Galatasaray to turn around this tie from losing 1st leg game with 5:1 scoreline so it was mainly focussed if Galatasaray could provide much more strong reaction to thei opponents for 90 minutes which to some extend it has failed to do so as its did look slightly passive during whole game without providing needed pressure to give any signs that it could win game and get needed scoreline to get into next stage in this tie for sure. Without doubt, PSV Eindhoven has been side which did showed whole control of the game from start to an end, controlling tempo of the game in a way which would be suitable for them to get needed outcome. This tie should be seen as good waking up call for them without doubt.

PSV Eindhoven on their part did once again shown positive attacking game as it did but due of outcome in 1st leg did looked to be much more passive game without letting Galatasaray also provide much issues during whole game.

Without doubt Galatasaray did show pretty poor game and now would look ways how to improve its performance for Europa League game against St.Johnstone.

It would be expected for Sivasspor to show much more attacking effective game against Petrocub.

Sivasspor which in recent weeks has been only side to show some good results from European tournaments would be playing against Petrocub at home ground after 1:0 loss from 1st leg.

Sivasspor did come as strong favourites during this tie and now would be accepted to get win against opponent with in fact better performance from 1st leg as their did show bit of passive game in Moldavia without providing much pressure to opponent. Therefore, with Sivasspor getting wanted result from opponent it would be also expected for them to provide strong attacking game with dominance of the game so it would be getting needed motivation for upcoming games without doubt. It would be hence interesting to see how side would improve.

Sivasspor hence not only need to aim for win but get it with strong dominant game without doubt.

Besiktas has made transfer deal with Ghezzal and Rosier.

Galatasaray has announced that it has ended transfer negotiations with Racchid Ghezzal due of player requesting 3.8 million euro and its being last movement to player while Besiktas announced that it made deal with him.

It does look like transfer fight over Ghezzal has been won by Besiktas as club CEO Ahmet Nur Cebi has announced that side did make deal with both him and Valentin Rosier in the end which could be seen that Burak Elmas announcement been seen as excuse for players not to make transfer deal as it raises question why it was decided this decision when it tried to make final deal with Ghezzal. So it does look like Besiktas did make transfer much more acceptable transfer deal towards Ghezzal.

Therefore, Besiktas been shown more willingness to get its player which been loaned to them in the end of the season.

Galatasaray would need to show much more fighting spirit against PSV Eindhoven

Galatasaray are going to come out to Champions League 2nd qualyfing round 2nd leg game in Istanbul after losing 4:1 during 1st game and still have some difficult game coming up with miracle to get into next stage.

Even through Galatasaray did make some transfers between both games it is beng very unlikely for those players to get adapted in this team in such short notice of time and even to be ready which could even make it unlikely for them to be starting game. Galatasaray despite of difficulty of the game would need to treat this game as an opportunity with focussing into providing at least strong game which would been much better and give some positive view for the game for upcoming games even it would be relegated. PSV Eindhoven did show very strong confident game and for sure would be focussing into showing similar performance in this game.

Galatasaray needs to show much more better game compare to 1st leg and see where it takes them.

Kayserispor signs Emrah Bassan for 2-years.

Kayserispor has signed Emrah Bassan as player is being one of the most experienced in the Super League and could provide significant strength to the side for upcoming weeks in upcoming season.

When being on good turn Bassan could provide very strong performance as he is being one of the key players at Erzurumspor in previous season but without doubt this time he would be focussing to keep his side at top league with providing much better team work which he had issue in previous club, it would be expected for him to become key player but he would need to get some other support on the side which would lead both team and Bassan to get good result in the end of the season.

Hence, this could be seen as strong and successful transfer for Kayserispor.

Adana Demirspor has signed Akintola

Adana Demirspor continues to be making successful transfers as it signs Akintola who has been one of the key players at Hatayspor on previous season.

It is clear that Adana Demirspor with getting so much of the many key players in its side, would be also focussing without doubt to be showing confident strong game in attacking game and help side to be ending season in the upper half of the table. It needs to be noted that even through some stars of the side performance could be questionable, it is being almost certain to be expected for Akintola to be providing strong attacking game but it is questionable if side would be getting good results which it would be seeking during next season.

Adana Demirspor did and continues making impressive side but would those names ocnvert them into very good results would becoming from time without doubt.

Schedule:

Galatasaray signs Sacha Boey for 4-years.

Galatasaray has signed Rennes player Sacha Boey for 4 years as player being among 3 players which been annouced prior to weekend and hence showing strong investment for future as player has strong expectations.

Sacha Boey even through is not well-known name in football, is still being one which does have expectations at world of football with showing some good performances at Rennes when he got some playing time. Therefore, with being also player with having some hopes and expectations as Fatih Terim could develop into better player if he would be providing some good transfers for future of the side. This is been good transfer for all parties hence.

Galatasaray following Champions League 2nd qualifier against PSV Eindhoven has started transferring players actively and is expected to be doing so in upcoming weeks.

Adana Demirspor signs Benjamin Stambouli.

Without doubt one of the main transfers of today has been Adana Demirspor signing Benjamin Stambouli with being side to continue very effective transfers in this summer transfer window.

Stambouli did provide very strong performance in recent seasons as he been showing very good performances at Schalke 04 in recent years with playing important role of getting good results for his team domestically and in Europe. As been noted before, Adana Demirspor continues to be one of the most effective sides during this summer transfer window with making transfers with strong names but it is being unclear if their would be giving good results for this sides.

This transfers would make side strong if players would show strong game but could be disaster if it would show too much unseriousness.

Giresunspor also has risen transfers in recent weeks as it signed Alexis Perez which could be good player for side aims to be staying at the Super League for next season.

Giresunspor signs Alex Perez.

Alexis Perez is being into level of player which could show very good performance in side like Giresunspor and could easily become key player in upcoming season.

Giresunspor main aim would be to be staying at the Super League for upcoming season and even through Perez might not be seen as world-class player he is being on level which could get very good outcomes with strong attacking games which would lead for side to stay on the top league. With modest spending possibilities which could become main player at the end of the season.

Therefore, this is being very good transfer for Giresunspor which does have aims for at least not to be relegated.

Giresunspor has signed Joey Pulepessy for 2-years.

Giresunspor has signed Joey Pulepessy for 2-years which could become most important transfer for Giresunspor as he is player who could raise level of performance of the side in upcoming season.

Joey Pulepessy who did provide some good performance in some of the clubs could become very good option for modest side like Giresunspor due of having some strong level of game and could help side to be fighting for securing their say at the Super League. It needs to be noted that Pulepessy as player is not in level to be competing at top level clubs as he is skills are not in that level but without doubt he is playing in the level to be showing strong fighting performance in those sides.

Therefore, Giresunspor did sign player which would be suitable for aims which been set for themselves which would been to be focussing into Super League stay.

Goztepe signed David Trijanic for 5-years

Goztepe has signed David Tripajic for 5-years hence making clear that their have high hopes for player with such long term.

Goztepe has signed David Trijanic for 5-years as he is been one of the main transfer focusses during summer transfer window and would become lots of strength to the side in upcoming weeks without doubt. Therefore, it did get strong confident player which would lead for side to be giving much more strong and confident performance in upcoming weeks without doubt as he would be expected to be seen as regular at starting 11 without doubt and giving strong help to the side without doubt with attacking game.

Hence, it did get strong transfer in upcoming weeks with providing needed strength to end league possibly at European spots.

Borussia Dortmund interested to sign Merih Demiral

Borussia Dortmund are showing interest to transfer Juventus player Merih Demiral with player showing strong interest with top clubs.

Even through as most player in Turkish National Squad, Demiral didnt have very good performance he did set his name as strong defender with being key of Turkish wall, it should be surprised for top clubs to show interest towards him.Even through Borussia Dortmund is being level below Juventus it still being top club without doubt and time would show if this deal would happen as we would follow.

Kasimpasa signed Sakib Aytac for 2-years

Kasimpasa has signed Sakib Aytac for 2-years as it did get player which does have high experience at the Super League medicore sides where he did show strong confident games hence becoming one of the most important players in those squads.

Kasimpasa didnt have season which it was seeking for during previous season without providing needed positive game which it been seekind for and hence during upcoming season would be hoping to show much more effective attacking game and Sakib Aytac is being attacking focussed game without doubt and hence does have power to get much needed outcome without doubt. Hence, this has been good transfer for Kasimpasa as player familiar with league but it would need to get better transfers in upcoming games if it wants to end season at high note.

Still, this has been without doubt very good transfer deal for Kasimpasa as Sakib Aytac has strength to make this team slightly effective at front.

Gaziantep has loaned Schalke04 player Hamza Mendyl

Gaziantep has signed Schalke04 player Hamza Mendyl for 1 season and hence has made another important step of making even more competitive side for next season as it is very likely would be fighting for European spots.

Even through Schalke 04 is being far from its best player it is known as most German clubs to have strong academy and Mendyl even through is being far from top player does have strength to be showiing strong effective game when getting opportunities and could help Gaziantep for sure to be fighting into higher spots during upcoming season. This also would be good opportunity for Mendyl to get some playing time in this club and prove himself more as good player both in Turkey and possibly at Europe.

Hence, this is being good effective transfer for Gaziantep if Mendyl would fulfill his expectation.

Galatasaray signed Alexandru Cicaldau for 5-years

Galatasaray has made princiapal deal with Universetetea Craiova player Alexandru Cicaldau as player arrived to Istanbul to finalise transfer deal.

There are being high expectation towards Cicaldau in his country as he did show very good performance at Univestetea Craiova but as player does need to develop without doubt due of his young age which without doubt Galatasaray is being aware of and hence willing to get investment on him even through their do need patience which sometimes their lack with young players. Still, during gold days of Fatih Terim been dominated by good Turkish and Romanian players and Terim is known to follow Romanian football so it could be stated that there is something with Cicaldau which Terim seems for future of the club. It would turn for Cicaldau to prove himself.

Galatasaray did sign potential future top player but it does need to show patience towards him without doubt.

Sivasspor got long-awaited win for Turkish club in Europe.

Sivasspor has brought a win against Petrocub during Conference League 2nd qualifing round 1st leg game with 1:0 scoreline and hence has made Turkish football followers happy following poor results recently at Europe from clubs and national side.

Even through it should be noted that there were expectations to get even more goals and hence confident win against modest opponent, it still needs to be mentioned that SIvasspor has been sided which did control game with creating high amount of opportunities but didnt convert most of the opportunities due of lack of last touches issue which been present in the club for previous season. In addition, poor penalty which been taken in the last minute has prevented for side to get more advantage outcome during 2nd half. Therefore, Sivasspor also didnt look entirely ready for this season but did provide view as expected it would get through Petrocub and provide some positive aspects for upcoming season.

Therefore, Sivasspor did look to be in good condition but without doubt it would need to be improve for 2nd leg as it performance without doubt not being at its highest.

Fenerbahce has taken away 4 players from main squad.

With Fenerbahce having high number of players which it needs to get sell during this summer transfer window, but due of not showing any interests from other clubs would need now to reduce its main squad from Vitor Pereira.

As would be remembered previous reduction of squad has been made by Pereira towards some of the young players which been expected to some extend however taking away players from main squad which took place today has been expected but is much more directly affected to main squad. 4 players which were taken from squad today has been Sadik Ciftpinar, Kemal Ademi, Mame Thiam and Oguz Kagan Guctekin, players which sadly for them have failed to fulfill its expectations on the field and led for Pereira to let them train seperately until someone transfers them, issue which been uncertain right now for sure.

Vitor Pereira still needs to reduce some of the players for final squad and if until now its been expected names right now it would be much more difficult decision which would be decided by performance at training.

Altay has signed Ceyhun Gulselam and Eric Bjornakader.

One of the most quiet sides at transfer front Altay has announced 2 transfers, Ceyhun Gulselam and Eric Bjornkader as side would be focussing to stay at the top league after long absence.

If Bjornkader transfer, player which only played in his country sides, Denmark, all his career does have risks due of inexperience of player and getting adapting to new environment, Gulselam for sure would not have such issue as he is strongly experienced to this league and with this experience would help certainly  Altay to get into next level which it performance during  next season. Still, Bjornkader is player with high potential and hence would be expected side to provide strong game. To some extend, Altay been quiet at transfer front but with two transfers it made clear it would focus into direct transfers which would affect positively to side.

Altay is likely to make even more transfers during this summer with focussing to make competitive side for Super League next season

Sivasspor provided confident performance against Petrocub.

Sivasspor has got 1:0 win against Petrocub in Kishenev thanks to Caner Osmanpasa goal as it been side which has controlled game and created high amount of opportunities during Conference League 2nd qualifying round 1st leg game.

Sivasspor did come to game against Petrocub as favourite and it showed to be one at the game where it been side which did create high opportunities during 90 minutes and could even scored as it much more opportunities compare to Petrocub but to some extend did have issues with last touches which been an issue for side in previous season. Only negative aspect of this game for Sivasspor has been not converting penalty on last minute of the game from Ahmet Oguz. It also needs to be mentioned that Moira did have very good saves from numerous Sivasspor which led them to stay on this tie during 2nd leg of the game. Still, Sivasspor did show strong attacking game which does provide high hopes for upcoming season as it has high aims.

Petrocub did come out as underdog and differences between sides has become visible as they had trouble to show an attacking game with Moira providing important saves during whole game.

Sivasspor hence got very good outcome in the end of the game but could get much more confident scoreline at the end of the game but still it would not expected for Sivasspor to lose this tie at Sivas.

Galatasaray has shown very poor game against PSV Eindhoven.

Galatasaray has provided very dissappoing performance during Champions League 2nd qualifying round against PSV Eindhoven losing game with 5:1 scoreline and not only getting humiliating result but in overall showing humiliating performance.

There were not high optimism from many people prior to game as Galatasaray were coming with high number of absences to the game such as having hardly any midfielders at the field and also some injuries which were present but even with this taking account such poor performance wasnt highly expected. PSV Eindhoven has dominated game for 90 minutes with providing high tempo to which Galatasaray werent able to respond again as PSV Eindoven for most possession got through defence very easily. Its been specifically surprising to see poor performance of Fernando Muslera who has conceded 3 goals from very simple mistakes which were not expected for him as he showed his worst performance since joining side or even whole career.

Galatasaray didnt show any performance as whole performance and not providing much hope for 2nd leg both with result and performance.

Fatih Karagumruk signs Ahmed Musa

Fatih Karagumruk has transferred Ahmed Musa as for long time there has been lots of interest to transfer player from different clubs in Turkey and eventually he joins Karagumruk.

Fatih Karagumruk possibly didnt make one of the eye-catching transfers but did make one from recent days which been pretty quiet period, as Ahmed Musa did provide some good experience in his previous clubs and does have strong experience which could assist Fatih Karagumruk getting good results in upcoming result. Only issue is for him not being familiar with Super League but this could be solved in upcoming weeks as he gets adapted to the team in pre-season training session. It could be noted that its been late signing but this would provide needed strength to side for sure.

This been good transfer for Fatih Karagumruk as side likely to have high aims in upcoming season for sure.

Results:

UEFA Europa Conference League, 2nd qualifying round, 1st leg:

Molde 3:0 Servette (winner of this tie would play against Trabzonspor at 3rd qualifying round)

Petrocub 0:1 Sivasspor

Dinamo Batumi 0:1 BATE (winner of this tie would play against winners of Sivasspor-Petrocub tie at 3rd qualifying round)

Galatasaray provided very poor performance against PSV Eindhoven.

PSV Eindhoven has got confident win against Galatasaray with 5:1 goals during Champions League 2nd qualifying round 1st leg game thanks to goals from Zahavi and Mario Gotze with Galatasaray providing very poor performance without much tempo and poor teamwork.

Prior to game, there is been strong belief that chances for both sides to get into next round would been 50/50, but when looking how sides performed during 1st leg it needs to be mentioned that even through its hard to state which side is better, but PSV has looked more fresh and focussed into game. Without this doubt has become even more clear from first two conceded goals which did come from pretty simple goals from Fernando Muslera and Emre Kilinc mistakes which led for PSV to get 35 minutes 2:0 leadership which provided needed motivation and confidence. Still, Galatasaray goal from Emre Kilinc in end of 2nd half did provide some hope for them but it continued to show very poor game from Galatasaray as it led for opponents to get into game once again and get high focus and motivation. Galatasaray without doubt did put its 2nd leg into high difficulty as it would need to find 4 goals without conceding to get even extra-time in Istanbul.

PSV Eindhoven did look to be much confident and ready for this game with dominating game while both Zahavi and Gotze finding 5 goals between them and generally providing strong pressure to Galatasaray goal and got deserved win.

Galatasaray did provide very poor performance without doubt and even through chances to get win in this tie is being low, this game would be reality check to them for rest of the season.

Sivasspor are being strong favourites against Petrocub.

Sivasspor would become 1st Turkish side to be coming out to UEFA newly-competitions Conference League as it would be playing against Moldavian side Petrocub at 2nd qualifying round 1st leg game.

Looking into level of squads between both sides, Sivasspor would be coming as strong favourites in this game as apart of having pretty limited squad compare to Turkish side, Petrocub also doesnt have experience at European competitions and did have trouble getting to this stage against opponent which is being similar level to them. Sivasspor as most Turkish clubs didnt get much opportunity to prepare for this game with having some limited pre-season friendlies but again this could only provide issue in sense of physical. Still, Sivasspor needs to provide full focus for this game without getting opponent to lightly for getting unwanted result.

It would be expected for Sivasspor to show strong confident game getting great result at home during 1st leg.

Trabzonspor signs Ismail Koybasi for 2+1 years

Trabzonspor has signed one of the most experienced T urkish players Ismail Koybasi for 2-years with 5 million TL as it is player who could provide needed strength for side to be fighting for title in upcoming season.

During previous season, Trabzonspor did promise to make for team for next season to be able to be fighting for title and when looking at transfer front it should be stated it does that. It could be noted that Ismail Koybasi to some extend is being in decline with level of performance but he does have strong experience when playing at big clubs in country and hence is being familiar at being title race. He might not provide performance from his best days but some of his skills and talks with other players could provide needed strength side.

Trabzonspor without doubt are making good squad and this would needed strenght for side to be fighting for title in upcoming season.
