What happened in Turkish football today? 03/11/2020

Fenerbahce showing effective attacking game.

While 3 of the 4 top clubs through partly blame for poor performance towards Covid19, Fenerbahce continues showing top performance and getting results which it aims towards even with pandemic.

Despite of winning game only with 2:1 scoreline against Antalyaspor which did come to the game without head coach, it provided high level dominance in the game with high number of crosses into dangerous areas and hitting 3 times into post. Such high level perforance at attack became visible during Trabzonspor 2nd half and continued with Antalyaspor hence without doubt getting much more closer towards to attacking style of game which Erol Bulut with of course having good alternative with attacking. Diego Perotti who did come out to his 1st game at Fenerbahce and scoring penalty did provide good game when taking account its his first game and provided strong view that he would be help to side when would be in his top form. Therefore, it would be difficult for opponents to stop this side especially when its attacking game would become more effective in future.

Due of such attacking game, Fenerbahce needs to be ready to get some closed defensive games against them in upcoming weeks and finding solution to this would be key for title race.

Basaksehirspor would again try to show positive game against Manchester United.

Basaksehirspor would be coming to one of the most toughest game, or even most tough, as Manchester United does continue high level performance in this death group not having much issues with PSG and RB Leipzig.

Still, Basaksehirspor with its performance, mainly due of not having too much pressure towards them, did show that regardless how game would be developing it would be showing its own kind of football looking for opportunities. In similar note, with previous game Basaksehirspor would be expected to lose as underdog in all fairness towards them, but it would not be an easy win for them but for sure with side being at good level and mood at the Champions League, playing its own good football against Basaksehirspor could be enough with Rashford would be without doubt player which Basaksehirspor would need to especially focus on.

This game will be very tough for Basaksehirspor but positive attitude to game could be good opportunity to prove themselves to Europe.

Ahmet Agaoglu wants to appoint Abdullah Avci despite of disagreements.

Trabzonspor still keeps Abdullah Avci as club's main candidate for head coach position despite of disagreement with contract deal before hand as club's CEO interested to appointed him.

It was known that Trabzonspor CEO Ahmet Agaoglu has been showing interest to appoint Avci since summer with having negotiations at which both sides didnt agree due of some contract and transfer offers which Avci offered and once again few weeks. However, it does look Agaoglu still sees him as best option mainly due of no other top names available even through there are different names circulating. Therefore, Trabzonspor does look to be continuing negotiations with Avci with time show if deal would be made within this weekdays.

Our blog would follow Trabzonspor works for looking for new coach and would inform in our accounts when it would become clear as always.
