Cyle Larin helped Besiktas to get win from Yeni Malatyaspor
Besiktas got back-to-back win against Yeni Malatyaspor with single goal thanks to great header from Cyle Larin in the game where it has dominated with possession but didnt necessary got high number of the chances.
With Yeni Malatyaspor providing mainly intense defensive game rather than showing much more brave game didnt prevent Besiktas to get high amount of opportunities even through it did control ball and been mostly in the half of opponent. Despite of getting low number of clear chances, it was visible that Besiktas did come out for win with looking for opportunities for most part of the game. It did find this winning goal on 55th minute with great cross with Ghezzal which led for Cyle Larin to provide great header, as Larin is showing strong improvement and willingness in the front slowly becoming one of the most key players for Besiktas. This been without doubt hugh improvement from Larin while being one of the most criticised players in previous season which does show that he did provide some hard work in training sessions. On other part it needs to be noted that without creating high level chances while being side on control, once again proves factor that side needs to improve with creating chances against opponents who show intense defence.
Yeni Malatyaspor meanwhile didnt manage to show much open football only getting one shot during whole game with highly been focussed into defensive game which been slighly surprising as side so far did show good game this season.
It does look like 21-days break of Besiktas did affect positively following international break and bye week, but still it needs to improve on some areas to dominate more at front.
Galatasaray got win with showing very poor game against Ankaragucu.
Despite of showing very poor performance during Super League 7th week game against Ankaragucu, it has managed to beat them with 1:0 scoreline thanks to the Ryan Babel goal 41st minute, with struggling Ankaragucu showing much better game.
Without doubt, getting win for Galatasaray has been very important scoreline as it lose some points in recent weeks but when coming how it got this point its been very dissapointing especially when taking account that its opponent is not getting results which it aims since start of the season and also coming with high number of absences due of Covid19 infected players. Therefore, Galatasaray did get all opportunity to get comfortable win when taking all this factors but it made game hard for themselves with providing low organised game with slow tempo allowing Ankaragucu to show confident attacking game, to some extend being side which did lose 3 points in the end of the game. Therefore, this game has been very dissapointing for them and there would need to show much better game to get results which it seeks for as it would play against sides which are in better form.
Galatasaray did show very poor performance despite of win and only can be satisfied for achieving this as this 3 points could become crucial in the end of the season.
Fenerbahce expected to show attacking game against Antalyaspor.
Fenerbahce will be resuming its Super League season with Antalyaspor which sacked earlier this week Tamer Tuna and despite in overall did show some good performance, didnt get results it seeked for last 2 weeks.
Fenerbahce on other hand is start getting closer to level of game which it seeking for with getting win against Trabzonspor during 2nd half dominating game and without doubt would be aiming to carry on this kind of game against Antalyaspor. With taking account that Fenerbahce head coach is getting closer at finding ways how to get maximum level performance from his highly alternative squad and getting closer to attacking game which he seeks for it would be expected for Fenerbajce to create high amount of opportunities hence providing high level pressure to Antalyaspor which would mean hosts would need to provide high focus into defence. With poor results on Antalyaspor, team could see this opportunity to get good scoreline and hence see it as turning point from recent result but it wouldnt be easy task as Tamer Tuna been sacked from coach position.
Therefore, Fenerbahce will be coming as favourites with providing strong attacking game for 90 minutes very likely.
