What happened in Turkish football today? 25/03/2019

Turkish National Team has shown good attacking game against Moldova.

Turkish National Team has got a comfortable win against Moldovian National Team with 4:0 scoreline with providing strong and confident performance without allowing Moldova to get into many chances and have shown pretty positive football.

It needs to noted of course that quality of the teams is being huge and hence 4:0 scoreline against such an opponent could not be seen as huge deal but it needs to be remembered that for long time Turkey didnt show such an attacking and positive game. Our blog has been stated during recent games that it was important for Turkey to provide its own game and show some respect to its opponents during previous 2 games and it has managed to do just that which led team to get such a crucial wins for getting ticket to Euro 2020. It needs to be also remembered that performance of the supporters which has provided an incredible push forward and has played an important role for such comfortable win at the end of the day. Another aspect has been for Turkey to get this 6 points without conceding any goals including today against Moldova. Among such a comfortable win it was also crucial to show an attacking game which was similar to Besiktas version with Senol Gunes has been familiar today's game.Turkey would now look forward in very confident manner to June games against France and Iceland which would be one of main games in this group.

Moldova in their hand did provide a view as expected to be much lower level, but showing respect to them it did provide a view of providing positive game and was seeking to carry on playing game while losing game 3:0 and 4:0. Moldova did provide that players has come to play game but quality has played a role at game.

Turkey has ended its, what could be referred as easy game, without disrepspecting its opponents in confident manner and scoreline and would now look forward for France and Iceland games at much better mental condiiton.

Galatasaray current administration would go to court regarding of financial meeting decision.

Galatasaray CEO Mustafa Cengiz has stated during his pretty short press conference that club would go to court regarding of decision by club members to not approve his CEO and administration performance for 2nd half of 2018.

During annual financial meeting of the club, high amount of Galatasaray members didnt approve performance of CEO Mustafa Cengiz and has called for an early election which without doubt has led for shocking reaction and has felt treated unwell regarding they very hard-working performance and effort their showed during this period. According to this actions the club would need to call for election until 23rd April. An issue is that court is likely not to make final decision until that date, that this CEO regardless how reluctant it would be to do, would need to call for CEO election during this 1 month period. Needless to say, of course those events are not good signs and shows that their huge misunderstandings taking place at club behind scenes.

Galatasaray as whole and specifically this administration would have some critical dates until end of the season at least and this scandal could not come in better time when team is showing strong title race.

Besiktas CEO Fikret Orman has stated that Hutchinson would be at technical staff after he retires.

Besiktas CEO Fikret Orman has stated that when its player Atiba Hutchinson would retire from his footballing career, which expects to be at the end of the season, he would be joining a technical staff.

Talks about Atiba Hutchinson planning to end his footballing career at the end of the season is being done a lot on this days and it would be more curious if it would be announced at the end of the season and would be his future especially within team. Fikret Orman has made an announcement today that he would be expecting and would like to see Atiba among technical staff after that announcement, which as it is known would be also among aspects which Atiba is considering himself. During last seasons, Hutchinson has played an important role at his role in Besiktas especially midfield area and played an important role for 2 league titles after each other and memorable performance at Champions League. Hence this trust and respect between him and club, including fans is strongly understandably and would seen natural to continue even after he ends his career.

Atiba Hutchinson would be expected hence to take place with Guti administration if he would get head coach position after season would be over.
