Fernando Muslera has been star of Galatasaray during game against Antalyaspor.
Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera has provided most important role for a win against Antalyaspor during Super League 25th week game as he has saved 2-3 chances while game has been played as 1:0 as it took time for other players to start scoring goals.
Even through winning game with an confident scoreline like 5:0, it needs to be stated that players didnt provide a great performance prior to 2nd goal and has allowed Antalyaspor to get into very good chances while Muslera has provided a great performance and has kept team 8 points behind league leaders Basaksehirspor. With Galatasaray found goal on 65th minute thanks to Onyekuru and finding other goals has affected negatively to Antalyaspor who have become tired and has lost concentration and morale of the game. Still, despite of this scoreline their are some areas which Galatasaray needs to improve including performnace of its attackers. Even through Mbiaye Diagne has found a goal it has been lucky goal and he still wasted many of the chances during game and hence he needs to look for improvement and be more active with his performance at the attacking game. Still, this has been an important win for motivation and confidence for last 9 games at the season.
Galatasaray as a team has always been a side with high focus and motivation and it is certain to be at title race until it would rather get it or Basaksehirspor would announce its title officially.
Lorius Karius continues to show degrease with his performance.
Besiktas player Lorius Karius performance does not provide much satisfaction and pressure for
Besiktas administrators, fans and most importantly technical staff as he carries on providing high amount of mistakes and carry on conceding simple goals.
When Karius has joined team, even through it was following Champions League game against Liverpool, it was expected that Karius would be able to get back into his top performance in Besiktas atmosphere. He did provide good start but in recent weeks he has provided high amount of mistakes and has conceded high amount of goals with some of them should be saved when it comes to team like Besiktas. It is true that following that infamous performance against Real Madrid during last season Champions League final with Liverpool, he carries on providing decrease of his performance. It needs to be reminded that Karius is loaned to Besiktas for 2 years with an option to purchase, but it is reported that club considers to send him back to Liverpool at the end of the season due of such poor performance.
Of course, Karius does have an opportunity to prove his value and provide U-turn at his level for last
9 games but it does look to be unlucky and his stay at Besiktas will not be remembered too brightly sadly for him.
Fenerbahce player Martin Skrtel expects to leave team this summer.
It became clear that Fenerbahce player Martin Skrtel didnt accept 1 year extension contract as he has requested for 2-year contract with possibly raise of his salary. With both sides not making deal, it is reported that Skrtel is currently looking for new club.
It is even reported today that player did make transfer deal with an Italian side Parma and would be leaving to the club as soon as summer transfer window would be opened. The talks about Skrtel leaving club has been discussed actively since winter transfer window as Rangers has shown some interest with Skrtel, but Fenerbahce didnt plan to sell him as it was important to keep him and still is important in defensive wise as Fenerbahce is having very poor performance right now at the season. It is known that Fenerbahce in fact does aim to keep player at the squad due of his level and being great player but due of economical issues it might have problems at making deal which would be satisfying for both sides and also club not entering to Europe very likely next season makes negotiations much more difficult.
Time would show if Skrtel would stay at team as there is lucky for negotiations to continue but it does look to be very unlucky right now.
