Riza Calimbay would coach last game at Trabzonspor at the last game of season.

Trabzonspor head coach Riza Calimbay has announced in today's press conference that his game against last-placed Karabukspor would be his last game as team would be coming out to the formality game and last game of this season.

As it is known, with scheduling of last week Super League games, TFF has put all of the 5 formalities game on 18th May at 18:00. With Karabukspor ending season for long time ago and losing all of the games back-to-back, Trabzonspor would be coming out as favourite and as their showed during Bursaspor game are willing to show good game before entering to summer break. It would be needless to expect that Trabzonspor would be scoring around as much as 7 goals due of circumstances against Karabukspor but it would be expected to control game. Stating that players of both sides are likely to lose concentration and opponents also not pushing competitive games it would be played in a matter for game to be ended and similar would be expected to be done for this game. Still Trabzonspor game would be aiming to end season at high note and conclude season with win.

Trabzonspor did have mix of performance during this season and would now focus into providing good ending of season with Riza Calimbay aiming to leave club with a win.

Atletico Madrid winning Europa League has moved 2nd place team into 2nd qualifying round at Champions League.

It became clear today that with Atletico Madrid winning Europa League against Olympique Marseille in Lyon has also went to the hand of 2nd placed team at the Super League, which would become clear on 19th May, as that team would start its competition at 3rd qualifying round rather than 2nd.
Spain has managed to overpass its contingency as it would be participating at Champions League it means that an extra spot has been opened at each stage and one of them has been Super League 2nd spot team which would mean that team would open its season not in July as would been if Olympique Marseille has won game but instead in start of August which naturally later start of pre-season training camp. This quite naturally brings also other advantages such as an opportunity to transfer more players. Currently the contenders who could end season at 2nd spot are Galatasaray,Fenerbahce and Basaksehirspor according to how games would be concluded on 19th May and of course among winning league title none of those teams would like to play qualifiers but at worst one who would will have more longer time. It needs to be reminded that compare to previous years, qualifiers has been also been easier which does raise chances for 2 clubs to compete at Champions League next season.

As been mentioned this weekend would make it clear which team would be able to use this opportunity of lesser qualifiers as Super League season would be concluded.

Galatasaray will compete at European competitions next season.

Galatasaray CEO Mustafa Cengiz had an meeting with UEFA administrators regarding of its FFP situation and has informed that their wont recieve any ban from competitions.

Mustafa Cengiz has stated that UEFA has provided and made it clear that team wont recieve any bans from European competitions but would provide some fines which according to CEO club is able to get through and stay strong. It is very likely that those fines would be a deal to transfer players into amount which has been gathering from selling which means that it can buy as much as it sells in other words. This conclusion has been mostly talked at Turkish sports media and does sound to be very reasonably and to some extend would be most suitable due of situation. It is clear that Mustafa Cengiz in his meeting with UEFA has made strong stance towards UEFA regarding club situation and also good will showing from UEFA has led for organisation to make such situation. Mustafa Cengiz has also stated that club would sign 4-year deal with UEFA probably focussing into this selling/buying deal.

It still needs to do that decision which would be made, which is expected to be next week, would identify transfer politics of the club during summer transfer window and also plans for Fatih Terim.
