Besiktas continues losing points in the end of the games.
Besiktas continues to be having draw results in the Super League as it has drawn with 2:2 scoreline to Basaksehirspor and has lost its opportunity to get closer to top 4 spots which would bring them to European football.
Even through title winners is almost being clear, there is big fight for 2nd spot as both sides did come to game where win could make an important step for such aim both in the standings and also motivation. It needs to be mentioned that when looking into tempo Besiktas didnt start in poor manner with being close into level of performance it has shown as did Basaksehirspor but even through it did find 2 goals, it still had some issues with converting its opportunities. Adding to this, its been important for Kenan Karaman to score his first goal as he was signed for scoring much more goals and this goal could provide some motivation and confidence to player for rest of the season as Besiktas without doubt would need to find goals if it wants to end 2nd spot. Stating that Besiktas did once again had decline of performance during 2nd half and especially towards end of the game as it didnt solve its decline of performance which seems to be without doubt an area which Besiktas head coach Onder Karaveli would need to solve.
Basaksehirspor meanwhile also did provide high willingness during today's game and has provided important pressure during 2nd half using factor of decline during end of the game which led them to get 2 points.
Besiktas needs urgently to solve its decline of performance which it shows in the end of the games or it wont get points for crucial 2nd spot and continue to lose points in those crucial minutes.
Fenerbahce has shown one of the best games.
Fenerbahce has provided one of strongest fighting spirit during this season against league leaders Trabzonspor with providing strong and confident performance with having one less man for almost 80 minutes.
Without doubt this been one of the few games during this season where Fenerbahce did deserve to win game as it shown strong attacking game and only did lose some focus for short while after red card of Irfan Can Kahveci as it also conceded goal during that period. Meanwhile, there has been lots of talk regarding red card decision where even through it was harsh contact, it was also to some extend harsh decision as this position does happen during physical connection and hence VAR did take decision more into decision of player who got foul rather one who committed. Still, Fenerbahce also with strong support of its fans showed confident game in overall and did get well-deserved 1 point.
Even through this is not being result, which Fenerbahce did seek for it still showed some positive signs for fighting for 2nd spot and hence getting Champions League qualifier spot.
Huge advantage has likely affected Trabzonspor ineffective game unwantedly.
Its been stated that with Fenerbahce needing to get this win more than Trabzonspor would affect to the game but taking account that for most time Trabzonspor did play an extra-time there were expectations for side to show better game.
Its important here to state that without doubt players and head coach Abdullah Avci did play for win but knowing that it has very big advantage for title, psychologically and physically could provide some relaxation and when it did get opponent which were highly motivated for win it did have issue to show confident response to this. Trabzonspor didnt get upper hand which it didnt show during recent weeks having issues to go ahead especially during 2nd half even through it did get some opportunities despite of only scoring 1 goal. Trabzonspor does have advantage of losing half of the points available and still become champions, even if Konyaspor makes 10 out of 10, but still its too early to show too much relaxation.
Hence, this loss of 2 points will not affect much for its title race but continuation of losing points could lead side to fill unease but it is expected for Trabzonspor to start gaining points in upcoming weeks.
