Fenerbahce showed strong dominating game despite of playing with 10 men.
One of the most anticipated games of this week has ended with 1:1 draw as for Fenerbahce in standing wise is being loss as it didnt get close to 2nd place Konyaspor while for Trabzonspor it wont provide much damage as it continues having huge 15 point difference with 10 weeks left until end of the season.
Possibly with much more importance for Fenerbahce, feeling thats it unfairly done on 1st half of the season game and also red card from today's game of Irfan Can Kahveci which, from Fenerbahce perspective, it has found unfair did provide strong motivational boost for the side which led them to show one of the most attacking game. With playing 80 minutes with 10 men to 11, and apart of few minutes after red card where it has conceded goal, Fenerbahce has been better side and showed stronged attacking game probably its best during this whole season. Without doubt, with Fenerbahce managing to get full stadium with its supporters who for long time showed unity towards side did also lead for Fenerbahce to show such game.
Trabzonspor even through did get important advantage in the start of the game due of red card Irfan Can Kahveci and in fact finding an opening goal with Anthony Nwakaeme, it didnt show very good performance which been used on previous weeks. It needs to be mentioned that even through Trabzonspor among having big point differnece did show attacking and confident points, but this has not been case as such not very ineffective game from Trabzonspor due of relexation of its position right now. Still, it did show some fighting spirit and without doubt did play for win but as been noted this psychological effect did them lead not to show such strong game which been shown from Fenerbahce.
Fenerbahce without doubt did want to win this game much more than Trabzonspor tonight which it shown with its attacking game despite of having one less man for 90 minutes and did get well-deserved win.
Galatasaray shows some worrying images prior to Barcelona game.
Galatasaray has provided very poor performance against Konyaspor during Super League 28th week with failing to show any upper hand for 60 minutes and without doubt showed worrying image prior to Europa League game against Barcelona.
There was expectation that Konyaspor would provide strong reaction as it currently aims for runners-up which would bring to qualifiers of Champions League so it was clear that Galatasaray would have tough time. But what was worrying that Galatasaray performance in duration of 60 minutes as it didnt provided any strong reaction and prevention when score did get into 2:0 scoreline. It needs to be mentioned that Galatasaray did rise tempo towards end of the game but Konyaspor did show strong defensive game and did prevent its opponents to create some opportunities. One of the main issues has been for Gabriel Torrent to do some unexpected in the starting 11 which also has its affect for side to lose this game.
Galatasaray are showing some worrying images right now in the league and needs to show some changes if it wants to have chance against Barcelona.
Basaksehirspor are in better conditions compare to Besiktas.
Besiktas would be coming out to very important game against Basaksehirspor as it fights for European League but it needs to be mentioned that as all clubs apart Trabzonspor do show unstable performance.
It would be needed to mention that whoever wins this game would get also very important confidence and motivation for European spots race, but when looking at the form Basaksehirspor does show much more stronger and confident performance in recent weeks while Besiktas is having some serious issues with finding goals and also drop of performance in the last minutes of the games. If Basaksehirspor would be focussed to show its best performance and high tempo it would be seen to be more advantegous side while Besiktas do need to show some improvements if it wants to get win especially in attack.
Its tough one to call before game but Basaksehirspor are in better form both with results and performance on the field compare to Besiktas.
