Trabzonspor is 4 games away from winning title.
Trabzonspor is being only 4 wins away from 9 games for its title even if Konyaspor manages to win all of its games after beating Goztepe with 4:2 scoreline and providing performance which is being suitable for title winners.
Ironically, Trabzonspor has provided strong confident attacking game and finding goals after conceding goal from Halil Akbunar on 31st minute which team has been complaining towards referee believing that prior to goal there has been foul. Trabzonspor both due of finding goal to be unfair and also being woke up from conceded goal did get ahead with 6 minutes following goal with finding great opportunities and converting goals into high class. In fact, following conceded goal Trabzonspor has shown high tempo with confident game and showing why its being best side at the Super League during this season. With this performance it does look like it would win upcoming 4 games, including against Besiktas. Trabzonspor has continued in this game to control 2nd half even if it did concede in the end of 1st half, finding 2 goals within 8 minutes which led them to control game during more than 30 minutes and send strong message that it would be getting title as soon as it can.
Goztepe in their part prior to scoring goal did in fact control game not very badly with preventing Trabzonspor to provide some issues but after scoring goal it didnt prevent Trabzonspor to get two fast goals which affected side. Even through it did make 2:2, it didnt provide much pressure on 2nd half.
Trabzonspor hence showed strong confident again once again and made important step for title as it only needs 4 wins maximum for rest of the season.
Fenerbahce is coming in high morale against Alanyaspor.
Fenerbahce would be resuming Turkish Super League with 29th week game against Alanyaspor if it manages to arrive to Alanya safely due of all delays which been set by snow.
Even through it is known that travelling from Istanbul to Alanya is being pretty problematic there doesnt seem to be so far any statement regarding such issue and hence if club would be able to arrive there, it would be able to play as there is no expectation of snow to be taking place in Alanya. Coming to the game, Fenerbahce did gain some confidence with strong performance against league leaders Trabzonspor on previous week and would be focussed to continue this kind of performance agaisnt tough opponent Alanyaspor but it needs to be mentioned that it did come also in such motivation following Galatasaray but didnt manage to fulfill back then so it would be interesting to see how it would be responding right now.
Fenerbahce are coming as slight favourites but it is expected to be tough game for them as it is being strong opponent.
Besiktas reaction for postponement reaction is not related to reasons why Galatasaray wants it.
There seems to be argument continuing to be taking place between Galatasaray and Besiktas regarding if derby game between both sides should be postponed due of heavy snow and Galatasaray having issues with returning to Istanbul.
Due of heavy snow and closer of airport, Galatasaray has arrived to Izmir to continue its training session with scheduled return to Istanbul being set on 13th March, day before Besiktas game, which is not being certain. Due of this Galatasaray has send request to TFF to postpone game but Besiktas has provided unwanted reaction with referring to game due of Galatasaray not wanting to come up to provide easiness for Barcelona game. Such reaction doesnt show Besiktas as such reluctance to postpone game with stating that similar action not being done is not connected Besiktas connection. Galatasaray does state that request does come also from issue of Barcelona game to be taking place but its not using weather condition an excuse but due of having negative impact to the side. Right now however it does look like Besiktas would be taking such stance until game.
In our view, due of situations which Turkey going through due of weather is understandable from Galatasaray but Besiktas doesnt see issue rightly.
