Alanyaspor reached to semi-final thanks to extra time goal from Aydin
Alanyaspor has reached to the semi-final of the Turkish Cup thanks to 102nd minute goal from Oguz Aydin as their have won game with 2:1 scoreline against Gaziantep at the game which been equally fought of both side.
With both sides being close to each other level it has been developing in such manner with both sides providing controllable game with providing defending game until Tayfur Bingol didnt score on 72nd minute which provided strong confidence to the side but Gaziantep in same time did provide pressure as it didnt plan to give in its semi-final ticket to the opponent with such pressure led for them to find crucial goal with Djiboudji in the last minute. With both sides being more precautious during extra time, the key has been goal from Oguz Aydin who has provided good shot into opponent goal and as been expected during 2nd extra time it did provide much more organised defence game preventing Alanyaspor to provide controllable game and did get winning score and would be meeting with Sivasspor in the semi-final.
Alanyaspor hence provided strong confident and even through its been performance where both sides been close to each other but it did ben slightly better which led them to get win.
Besiktas continues showing lack of converting score as Kayserispor has relegated them
Kayserispor has beaten another top club in the Turkish Cup as it beat Besiktas with 2:1 scoreline with providing confident controllable and showed strong resistance to Besiktas attacking game.
It would be needed to stated that Besiktas has been side which provided attacking game for most amount of the game but has continued lack of converting opportunities with Michy Batshuayi wasting very good opportunities as especially Rachid Ghezzal provided high number of top crosses. It needs to be noted thefore that one of the main issues for Besiktas has been of being able to create high number of opportunities during whole game but has issues with converting them which does led them not to be scoring high number of opportunities. It is true that Kayserispor compare to opponents didnt provide high number of chances but compare to Besiktas they have converted them especially when taking account that their scored with 1st opportunity.
Besiktas continues having some serious issues in the attack and right now it would need to focus to improve this to end Super League at high spot.
Sivasspor used its home advantage to get into semi-final.
With Sivasspor getting through to semi-final stage at the Turkish Cup with beating Fatih Karagumruk with 1:0 scoreline, it needs to be noted that game has been played in between with both sides showing patient game.
Sivasspor even through doesnt provide same level performance in the league did come to some extend as favourites as since they did play at home with being more familiar with weather conditions and without doubt they did use this advantage with finding goal on 2nd half. Still, it needs to be noted that game has been played more or less for preventing opponent to show top level performance rather then finding winning goal. It was game which both side did focus to get draw as goal would come from good opportunity which Sivasspor did use.
Sivasspor gets to the semi-final with using its advantage at home and would focus for sure to get into final game as it would meet Alanyaspor.
