What happened in Turkish football today? 04/08/2021

Galatasaray will be coming out to St.Johnstone as strong favourites.

After losing to PSV Eindhoven at Champions League 2nd qualifying round, Galatasaray would continue its European journey at Europa League 3rd qualifying round where it would be meeting with Scottish side St. Johnstone.

Galatasaray will be coming to St.Johnstone as favourite side but as been noted on previous posts it would need to provide improvement from how it performed with PSV Eindhoven if it doesnt want to get surprising result against Scottish cup winners. It needs to be noted that Galatasaray with signing players since PSV Eindhoven would also get opportunity for them to show themselves and get some idea about squad which would be playing in upcoming season. Therefore, Galatasaray would need to get good control of the game and provide look of confident favourite for this game from start to an end.

Galatasaray will be coming to game as confident leaders but it would need to provide performance accordingly without doubt.

Trabzonspor will have tough game against Molde.

Trabzonspor as been noted before hand would be getting most difficult opponent at Conference League 3rd qualifying as it would be playing against well-experienced side Molde.

Trabzonspor are seeing this upcoming season with focus to provide strong confident performance with focussing into being one of the main title contenders with high aims for Conference League. Therefore, opponent like Molde would provide good opportunity for them to see current strength and readiness for side. Both sides would be providing strong confident performance without likely showing any remoteness to each other and both sides very likely will seek for advantage scoreline during 1st leg.

Trabzonspor is expected to have tough moment against Molde but with good game it could get seeked result.

Sivasspor needs to provide pressure to Dinamo Batumi

Sivasspor would be coming out once against its opponents Dinamo Batumi but it would be needed without doubt to be providing more confident performance compare to previous game against Petrocub.

Sivasspor during its best form is being much more stronger and confident side compare to its Georgian opponent but its been observed against Petrocub that side might not be entirely ready for upcoming season with addition of 7-8 players. Still, it would be important for them to provide pressure to opponent from start until end with making clear that its been favourite in this tie.

Hence, Sivasspor would need to provide strong game both on field and mentally to get through this tie very likely.
