Besiktas has drawn against Gaziantep without providing tempo which we used from them.
Turkish Super League 2nd week game between Gaziantep and Besiktas has ended with goalless draw as tempo of the game been pretty low with some good but low amount of opportunities coming up from both sides.
Meanwhile, most important and saddened event which been happened during game has been loss of coscience of Fabrice N'Sakala which been directly taken to hospital where it is reported that he is being with conscious. Coming back to game, its been pretty low tempo from both sides which been also affected due of poor conditions on the field which could bring some injuries but thankfully didnt bring them but surely affected them to play game which been seeking for. However, its been unexpected to see Besiktas being at low tempo which did provide some strong, fast tempo and aggressive game on openning week against Rizespor but been pretty far even through it needs to be noted that Gaziantep did also look to be much more organised not only defensive but also provided some dangerous opportunities in game also.
Gaziantep very likely were focussing into win but would be happy with such outcome as 1 point against title holders would bring some bonuses and could get some good motivation in upcoming weeks.
Besiktas didnt provide game which was expected from them with losing tempo which been seen in previous week and this area would be focused by Sergen Yalcin very likely as it been far from tempo game which he seeks for.
Fenerbahce would focus for 3 points despite of injuries.
Fenerbahce will be getting to Super League with 2nd week game against Antalyaspor as it continues to have injury issues at the side and would likely get help from young players.
Due of high number of injuries at Fenerbahce which been heavily case at the front attack, Fenerbahce did introduce both Arda Guler and Mehmet Gumuskaya, with latest scoring incredible goal from distance did provide very good and confident performance and would be without doubt be expected to provide similar strong performance with possibiliy to either starting or being substituted later both due of very good game against HJK and lack of alternatives. Antalyaspor could be tough opponent for Fenerbahce while being in such condition, as even through its not in same level as them, it could provide strong defensive game and when needed go effectively to attack. So it could be tough game but with how organised Fenerbahce looked in last 2 games would provide some hope.
Fenerbahce current aim is to end with maximum points in such difficult period for them and it would be focussing to get 3 points for sure.
Galatasaray extends contract with Marcao for 3-years
Galatasaray has extended contract with its player Cristian Luyindama for 3-years with 1.2 million euro salary despite of wanting to sell him this summer.
Main reason for such decision has been due of Marcao 8-game ban following Kerem Akturkoglu incident and possibility of selling him which would reduce to 1 players defensive player. It needs to be noted that when Luyindama did join side he did provide good performance being seen as one of the key defenders, but later showed decline which rose with rumours that side would sell him, but there is possibility he would regain motivation with this extension which would bring with strong performance once again.
This extension did come due of situation in the club due of Marcao but in long-term it could be good news both for side and player with time to show.
