Galatasaray needs to improve for group stage.
Galatasaray has got into Europa League group stage after beating Randers during play-off round in much difficult scenario then being expected and got into relatively tough group at this competition.
Galatasaray it needs to be mentioned even through did get control of the game in the start, it didnt provide very good game during 1st half with conceding early goal on 11th minute and even through did create some opportunities did have issue with last touches. However, motivational talk from Fatih Terim which he always done well and also motivation which were given from supporters after 1st half did provide needed improvement as it started getting into Randers attacks much more agressively with finding goal and also leading opponent to make mistakes. Fenerbahce is improving by each game.
Fenerbahce did provide dominant game against HJK during Europa League play-off round and even through it did concede 2 goals its been side which has shown confident performance for 90 minutes.
Fenerbahce is being side which does improve by its game with Vitor Pereira in general and also providing important confidence to its player in recent games and also playing young players does provide strong feelings for this side and this taking account that he is not playing with ideal 11 and some transfers would come. Strongest message however is being send from Enner Valencia with his high-level hat-tricks to comments that side would need urgently forward player, as he would be able to fulfill this position if transfer would not be made. Even through conceding 2 goals could be seen as negative, since Fenerbahce in overall did show good performance it doesnt provide too much issue especially when opponent tend to score lots of goals. Fenerbahce did get relatively not very difficutl group at Europa League and could realistically aim for top spot.
Fenerbahce in recent weeks does show impressive games and does rise some positive expectations for this season.
Roma provided important lessons and experience to Trabzonspor
Trabzonspor could be losing to Roma at the Conference League play-off round with aggregate scoreline of 5:1 but surprisingly it could leave side with heads up.
Ironically, when looking at quality of Super League, Trabzonspor performance does provide some hope for this upcoming season domestically as it did show so far including against Roma and even more importanly some very important lessons and experience which it could be used in this season which it started very well. Therefore, brave game from Trabzonspor especially from 1st leg should be praised from Trabzonspor and showed how potential it has for this side which does have quality players. When even Jose Mourinho does praise Trabzonspor it should be noted but areas why it did lose 2nd leg with 3:0 scoreline should be focussed upon.
Even through Trabzonspor been relegated this tie did allow them to get important experience which would be very important for them in domestic front this season.
