What happened in Turkish football today? 02/08/2021

Galatasaray route to Europa League group stage is not tough one.

Galatasaray has been drawn against Randers at Europa League play-off round if it manages to beat St. Johnstone which without doubt could be seen as good draw but still there is some worrying views regarding Galatasaray.

As it is known Galatasaray did provide pretty dissapointing performance against PSV Eindhoven and hence does provide some worries if it would be providing good game at Europa League as even through its upcoming opponents are not being very strong, game which their shown against PSV doesnt provide much hope. Still better performance and results would provide important amount of motivation for them in upcoming games and it is highly expected for side to get into Europa League group stage without much difficulties for sure.

Hence, Galatasaray route to Europa League could be seen as easy one but still it could provide some difficulties in upcoming games if it doesnt improve its game.

Fenerbahce did get beatable opponents for proper Europa League.

Fenerbahce has been drawn against winners of HJK Helsinki and Neftci Baku at Europa League play-off round as it would be starting its European journey in this stage.

It could be stated that among all Turkish clubs in this stage at Europe, Fenerbahce did get potentially most modest side as both sides doesnt have much exprerience at European top tournaments and also have pretty modest squad. Therefore, with this taking whoever would be coming to Fenerbahce in the tournament it would be expected for Fenerbahce not to have much issue as long as their would provide its best games for both legs.

Therefore, Fenerbahce did get pretty beatable opponents for group stage in tournament.

Trabzonspor has toughest route to group stage

Trabzonspor without doubt did get most difficult opponent at qualifying stages as it would be playing against Roma if it beats Molde at 3rd qualifying round at Conference League.

Route to Conference League proper has been pretty tough one for Trabzonspor as it would be playing against Molde and then if it manages to pass them would be meeting with Italian top club Roma as among getting to tournament it would be opponents which would provide strong test to current squad which been created with mind to win title. This would be hence good opportunity for Trabzonspor to see its level of strength as Molde without doubt would be providing some difficult moments to them.

Trabzonspor does have most difficult route to group stage in its tournaments but it would be great tests to check their current conditions for sure.
