Galatasaray gets into play-off round with good win against St.Johnstone.
Galatasaray has got into Europa League play-off round after beating St.Johnstone with 4:2 scoreline and aggregate scoreline with 5:3 result with providing strong confident performance despite of not great game of goalkeeper.
Galatasaray did come out to tie as strong favourites, and even through 1st leg didnt go as their planned it did provide much more strong performance with dominating and among scoring 4 goals did create even more and providing lots of pressure to St.Johnstone who did provide defensive game in all its strength and did score 2 goals which did come out in simple mistakes from its opponents. Galatasaray did provide much more willingness as it needed to compare to 1st leg and did find goals from different players which without doubt has been good news from their perspective. Trabzonspor did have some issues against Molde during 1st leg and it needs to be noted that 2nd leg hasnt been also easy as both sides provided strong organised game as Trabzonspor get into play-off round through penalty kick.
Its been noted several times by our blog that Trabzonspor did get most difficult tie in this week among Turkish clubs but it needs to be stated that it did provide pretty good performance which doesnt only provide hope for European journey but also in upcoming Super League season which it providing in upcoming weeks. Still, even through Molde did provide some good resistance towards them without doubt, Trabzonspor did provide strong attacking game and did show better performance at defence compare to 1st leg. Without doubt, Ugurcan Cakir also provided good strong confident performance during game and also with two saves at penalty kicks which led for side to get to next stage.
Molde which been frequent at Europa League in previous seasons did come out as strong opponent and did provide some issues during both legs but did been unlucky in their perspective at penalties without being able to pass Ugurcan Cakir.
Trabzonspor gets into next stage but there points which it needs to improve against Roma who would be tougher opponent for sure.
Sivasspor gets to play-off round despite getting behind
Sivasspor despite of winning 1st leg with 2:1 scoreline, were expected to have difficult moments against Dinamo Batumi, and Georgian side without doubt did provide some difficult moments.
Prior to conceding goal against Dinamo Batumi, it didnt provide very strong game with having issue of getting control of the game but did show good reaction after conceding goal and getting into control of the game with focussing into getting crucial winning goal in the tie but did been unlucky in some moments of the game but did continue to provide similar attacking game during extratime with finding crucial win in the extra time from Felix. Still, when looking in overall it needs to be admitted that Sivasspor did provide much more willingness to get into next stage and has been side which were deserved at Conference League play-off round.
Dinamo Batumi has been expected to provide some issues in Sivas as it been good away side and their did as it got openning goal but after that were not able to provide strong resistance to opponents despite of getting game into extra-time.
Sivasspor been better side during 2 legs and highly deserved to be at next stage of the tournament.
