Galatasaray didnt look like side which is fighting for title.
Despite of finding goal against Trabzonspor on last minute during of Super League 36th week game with Emre Akbaba and hence saving point, it didnt provide much good for Galatasaray as point difference with Besiktas stayed as 6 points while with Fenerbahce been reduced to 3.
Galatasaray didnt provide also very good peformance against their opponents, without having a shot on goal during whole 1st half which by itself provides lots of worrying view for them when entering to last 6 weeks game where every point would be crucial and providing either good or at least tactical game needs to be at highest note possible to keep their chances. Even through Galatasaray did look to be more creative and willing during 2nd half it still being pretty far from side which could be seen and expected to be one which been fighting for title. Even Kerem Akturkoglu who provided great game and scored hat-trick against Goztepe didnt provide any strong performance at front despite coming to game with high motivation and confidence. This performance without doubt would be providing some worrying image as we enter to last 6 games.
Therefore, Galatasaray does look to be not highly focussed and with sides continue to lose points it needs to focus into 6 out of 6 but with this kind of game it hard for them to achieve.
Trabzonspor draws regardless who is opponent.
Trabzonspor needs to be noted that did provide better performance compare to Galatasaray creating opportunities and getting ahead but somehow it cant overpass its draw streak it got for 5 games.
Interestingly Trabzonspor did play with sides who tend to be at middle, fighting for 5th spot, focussing into staying in league and this time title contenders but somehow whoever opponent is it tends to end with draws with 0:0 and 1:1 scoreline. Without doubt there must be reason of this as it did lose 10 points in this period which could even kept them at title hopes if were gained so therefore it does look like side would need to go through this as it could be psychological or tactical issue especially when looking that side did concede in last 2 games at the last minute. Trabzonspor is still fighting for 3rd spot but even more important it would need to focus to secure 4th spot where 2-3 wins could be enough.
Trabzonspor would need to find solution why its not winning games if it aims to have good end of this season.
Basaksehirspor has terminated contract with Demba Ba
Basaksehirspor has terminated contract with its player Demba Ba in surprising manner even if he seems to be key player which could keep side keeping on the league, as it is unknown why such decision been made.
Such termination of contract between both sides has been surprise to whole Turkish community even through there were some signs as player didnt start at starting 11 in recent games which could be connected to misunderstanding with head coach Aykut Kocaman. Meanwhile, there is been some question of profile wallpaper of Demba Ba with putting zipping mouth when been seen as message of not being feeling freely to discuss about issue, even through club CEO Goksel Gumusdag did mention that from talking to Ba, he been informed that this wallpaper is not related ot this issue. Still its reasonably to expect that issue seems to be due of misunderstanding as it is big surprise for such player to be taken away while side is on edge of relegation.
