Fenerbahce has reduced its title hopes dramatically with draw against Alanyaspor.
Fenerbahce has very likely lost its title hopes as it has drawn goalless with Alanyaspor during Super League 37th week with playing most of the time during game like draw would be enough for them even when loss of points would cost them not only title but 2nd place.
Despite of some moments during game where Fenerbahce did create some opportunities it should be noted that Alanyaspor has created much more effective opportunities during game with hitting 3 posts during game as Harun Tekin should be noted did provide some uncertainty with his posture during whole game. Without doubt Gokhan Gonul red card on the end of the 1st half did both provide tiredness to Fenerbahce and change of tactics, it still didnt respond in the way which would been expected for side which did come out for win. Besiktas needs to stop criticising external factors.
Besiktas has got very crucial win against Rizespor during Super League 37th week with 3:2 scoreline as it needs to get 7 points from 4 games, regarding how it would play again to win title but it has tough games in upcoming 2 weeks.
It needs to be noted that even through Besiktas did get into strong leadership during game with 3:0 scoreline with also showing strong performance, it did almost lost points in last minute of the game as Risespor did provide strong comeback with 2 goals scored on 87 and 88th minute. Besiktas which did 3:0 in deserved manner with showing strong game did show signs of panic towards end of the game and did provide anti-football doing everything for Rizespor to create opportunities for 3rd goal. Even through this is always case for sides which are fighting for win, its been hypocritical when taking account that it did criticise other sides. In fact, Besiktas does provide high number of criticism which went as high to criticise both Rizespor and Hatayspor for not coming with strongest squad in previous games. This is normal practice for all clubs, Besiktas should focus or it could lose title despite of strong advantage.
It does look next 2 games would be crucial for Besiktas as it could lose points both to Hatayspor and Galatasaray regarding how opponents perform this season.
Galatasaray needs to keep title hopes mentally.
Galatasaray keeps 6 point difference from Besiktas following win against Konyaspor thanks to last minute goal from Emre Akbaba but does provide some worry with how it performed as 4 weeks left.
Galatasaray did provide especially during 1st half pretty passive game not providing image of side which is fighting for title or even hopes to win it as it couldnt get high tempo against strong defence from Konyaspor even through this lack of opportunities did come due of slow tempo of side. Stating that Galatasaray did raise tempo during 2nd half but still did lack of creativity however with high focus and detirmination did get winning goal from Emre Akbaba. With taking account that side would play against Besiktas after next week it needs to provide strong game in upcoming week game against Genclerbirligi which are fighting to stay in the league.
Galatasaray needs to close 6 point difference with Besiktas with also Fenerbahce above them with 4 weeks to play but its crucial for them to keep belief as long as their have title hopes.
