Turkey continues losing points to weaker sides.
Turkey continues to getting good results or at least showing good game against sides which either being on same level as them or stronger on paper, but does lose points against sides which weaker as their lost to Latvia.
Stating that Turkey historically does have issue with beating Latvia as it drawn 3 games and lost 1, including this one, in last 10 years including not qualifying to Euro 2004 when losing to them at play-off round. What makes it even dissapointing that Turkey did everything which needs to be done in such games as it found goal at 2nd minute and got ahead with 2:0 scoreline and later with 3:1 scoreline. However, with dropping its performance level as game continued has led game to get into hand from Turkey to Latvia. Using an excuse of tiredness with playing 3 games within 1 week, only point which side tries to get excuse, is not case as opponent did have same schedule as everyone with some sides showing very good game during 3rd weeks. It is true that ending with 7 points this section of qualifiers is good development, but losing 2 points against side which other contestant likely to win could raise issues.
Turkey continues to lose points to sides which weaker, even if its psychological or tactical issue, it needs to be solve as soon as it can or it would have other issues in this campaign.
Gokdar Bayraktar will not play for 4-6 weeks due of injury.
Antalyaspor has announced that its player Gokdar Bayraktar will not be playing for 4-6 weeks due of having operation on his ongoing injury on previous day.
This without doubt would be seen as dissapointing news for both side and player as being 19-year old he did show very good performane in recent weeks and this period without doubt would be providing strong development to player and leading side with getting good outcomes hence this injury timing certainly will not be good news and is unlikely to reach such level in rest of the season as there would be only few weeks left until end of the season. Hence, Antalyaspor did use crucial player for this important in weeks right now.
Player right now needs to focus into his recovery so he could return at good form for end of season and more crucial for upcoming season.
Players returning from national duty with positive Covid19 results.
Juventus player Merih Demiral is reported to be having positive test results for Covid19 as soon he has joined Turkish National Team which been reason why he didnt take place during World Cup qualifiers.
It is reported that reason why player has stayed with side, being entirely isolated at different room, been expectation that player could be recovered during this stay and play for side but test results didnt turn from negative to positive during this period. Meanwhile, as was expected unfortunatelly, we are hearing pretty high number of players which are returning from national duty with positive test results which could provide some issues for all sides in upcoming weeks.
