Fenerbahce got confident win against Kasimpasa
Fenerbahce did get pretty confident win against Kasimpasa with 3:0 scoreline at the game where Mame Thiam has found his first 2 goals for his club without providing too much effort due of level between sides.
As been noted, Fenerbahce did get important win with keeping themselves 2 points from league leaders Besiktas without providing too much effort and difficulty which been mainly due of getting early goal at 14th minute with Mame Thiam which led for Fenerbahce to provide high level control of the game while Kasimpasa despite of getting ahead didnt provide much pressure towards Fenerbahce goal. With taking account that Fenerbahce would be playing very important game against Alanyaspor on 8th January and opponent not providing too much pressure towards them has led them to slow down tempo of the game with getting some opportunities when it got chances with finding other 2 goals from Mame Thiam and Ferdi Kadioglu. Without doubt this win among previous win against Basaksehirspor did provided very needed motivation and confidence with players looked to be more highly focussed at fighting spirit of the side.
Kasimpasa meanwhile did come out as underdogs of this game but didnt provide much high level performance which it showed last week game and either by not being able to provide or due of lack of concentration didnt show much resistance.
Its been important for Fenerbahce to get this win without conceding and could be looking forward to one of the most important games of this season so far against Alanyaspor.
Besiktas got leadership with not very impressive win against Kayserispor.
Besiktas has got leadership in the end of the Super League 16th week after beating Kayserispor with 2:0 scoreline even through it could be noted without doubt that its been tough game for them since opponent did provide pretty intense defence against them.
Until 88th minute of the game which led for penalty kick which been converted by Kevin Nkoudou, Besiktas did struggle to find goal and provide strong creative game despite of getting penalty opportunity on 7th minute which wasnt converted by Bernard Mensah due of great safe by opponent goalkeeper. Without doubt Besiktas did struggle against Kayserispor due of providing intense defence as it is located at last spot with desperately need of points and also absences of key players Vincent Aboubakar and Rachid Ghezzal whose creative games are capable to get through closed defence style of game. It needs to be noted that Besiktas didnt been very effective and would very likely end game with 0:0 scoreline if there wasnt needless penalty from Kayserispor side. Still, this win would provide high motivation and confidence as winning with poor game does provide such effect to sides.
Besiktas did get leadership on the standings which would be seen without doubt leadership but way it did get this win in this particular game does show that side need to focus into improving with some areas in attack.
Trabzonspor start showing much more attacking game.
Trabzonspor has got good win against Fatih Karagumruk with 2:1 scoreline and even through did provide some improvement with attacking game compare to previous ones with Abdullah Avci showing some hope for future games.
Our blog been actively criticising Trabzonspor performance in recent weeks without showing too much attacking game focussing too much into defence and only getting goals with few opportunities. Even through it is still clear with Trabzonspor performance that it needs to improve attacking game, it did provide right mindset. In fact, when comparing both sides previous games its been expected that Fatih Karagumruk would be much more effective in attacks but its been observed quite opposite, even through absences of opponent did play some reason for such view. Still, mindset of Trabzonspor does show Abdullah Avci is getting much more focussed how to lead side to be providing much more attacking focussed, but it needs to continue to provide such game if it wants to fight for title in this season.
Trabzonspor did provide some positive signs against Fatih Karagumruk with showing much more attacking focussed game and currently looks to be focussing how to solve with limited players.
