Trabzonspor found goal in last minute against Antalyaspor.
Benik Afobe on last minute of the game has brought 1 point to Trabzonspor against Antalyaspor at the game where side did dominate whole game but did struggle to pass through opponent defence.
There was expectation for Trabzonspor to provide strong improvement of its performance level with using advantage of having 1 week bye and also being out of Turkish Cup, and even through it did control in the sense of possession and creating passes, it did fail to get tempo which it did seek for in duration of whole game. Hence, willingness to win game has been present in the team with providing forward-focussed game with providing some pressure to opponent, but to some extend it didnt provide too much pressure. In fact, to some extend it could be mentioned that Trabzonspor did look to be showing attacking game due of Antalyaspor letting them to control ball which it achieve to do so until last minute. However, as it is always 1:0 is being slippery scoreline and this fact did show its clear in last minute. Stating that 2 point loss to Trabzonspor, compare to Antalyaspor, would be seen more to be loss. Meanwhile, one of the main reasons for not winning this game would be seen penalty which wasnt converted by Trabzonspor at start of the game.
Antalyaspor been focussed, especially after scoring goal, into defensive game which it did managed to some extend but doing so with 1:0 scoreline did happen on last minute of the game. It does look side would show similar game against top side. Of course, being with 10 men did have its role for this.
Trabzonspor did provide some good game with high opportunities and control of ball but lack of high tempo did lead for goal to come late.
Besiktas is more confident and motivated compare to Galatasaray
Besiktas would be aiming to continue its leadership in the league and continue its winning record against its historical rivals as it would be coming to derby game against Galatasaray during Super League 19th week game.
Besiktas did have slight decline in previous game as it drawn against Hatayspor on previous week and didnt show great performance against Rizespor at Turkish Cup, but side did provide during this season that it does provide high level confidence and focus into big games with winning Fenerbahce, Trabzonspor and potential title rivals Alanyaspor and similar set of mind would be key in such game and would only have motivational and confidence boost to the side in this crucial game. It is true that with such long season winner would not win title in the end of the season but would provide crucial confidence for upcoming games. It is expected for Vincent Aboubakar and Rachid Ghezzal to become once again crucial players in this fixture focussing into showing strong game in attack for sure.
Therefore, confident performance in recent games would provide important motivation for side against Galatasaray and with home ground, despite of no supporters would provide additional bonus.
Fatih Terim would play crucial role for Galatasaray performance.
Galatasaray on their part does continue to show mixture of performance in duration of this season with either providing very good game or being ineffective however it needs to be noted that derby atmosphere would lead for side to show strong confident organised game.
To some extend its hard to predict how Galatasaray would perform but it needs to be noted that when side is physically is in very good condition it could show strong game up front with great opportunities and be closer to win.
