Fenerbahce continues winning games in this difficult period.
Fenerbahce got confident win against Ankargucu with 3:1 scoreline showing pretty medium tempo game with controlling especially after finding goals and got equalised once again with leaders Besiktas with 38 points.
It needs to be noted that Ankaragucu didnt provide too much pressure towards Fenerbahce with making especially big mistakes at defence as all goals from Fenerbahce did come from Ankaragucu defenders therefore it could be stated that their got confident scoreline without providing too much effort which it needed to get in such different schedule. Meanwhile, including Turkish Cup game, Fenerbahce did get 6 wins out of 6 with most of them being without double which does show that side is providing very strong and confidence by each game enjoying league leadership with Besiktas being two sides for now to be beat without doubt. We did state that this win has been pretty easy for Fenerbahce without much effort given due of opponent, but its been seen that there did provide confident game with going forward for 90 minutes being fully focussed into their own task. Fenerbahce among Besiktas goes through this difficult schedule being strongest winners without doubt.
It is true that Ankaragucu did play against difficult opponent but their did show very poor performance with making high level of mistakes with having direct role of conceded goals which even through needs to be admitted did come mostly for tiredness of recent games rather than lack of focus.
Fenerbahce did get very important win without doubt and kept its leadership spot with Besiktas, with opponent having goal difference advantage.
Besiktas got deserved win as it wanted more.
It could be argued that Besiktas didnt provide very good performance showing mediocre tempo of the game especially when game been played with 11-on-11 but it did want to win game even more then Galatasaray.
Without doubt before Mbiaye Diagne red card, Besiktas being side which did control ball and been more into opponent half but despite of one opportunity from Cyle Larin very good opportunity didnt get much chances as opponent did provide defensive. In fact, this to some extend did show that sides only issue right now is to go through closed defenders as it likes to play more into open game. Without doubt, with Besiktas getting extra player as Diagne did get red card also provided openness which led for Josef de Souza finding very good from far away while later Nkoudou did get final scoreline. Besiktas does continue highly level performance with most of games without conceding goal and to achieve that without doubt would be seen as good outcome.
There are some areas which could be criticised from Besiktas but in overall it did get deserved outcome in such important derby game.
Mbiaye Diagne red card led his team to lose 2 points
During our preview of this derby game, its been noted in recent weeks either Galatasaray does show very good game or very bad, and in such crucial game again its main rivals it did show performance out of day.
It needs to be noted that Galatasaray focus been more or less to prevent to feel comfortable in the defence and it did achieve to some extend but when going into forward it didnt provide much organised game even when being 11-on-11 and didnt look much it would be finding goal even through it did find one very good position where Atiba Hutchinson. One of the most interesting aspects of Galatasaray been that prior to conceding goal one of the best players been Cristian Luyindama but during same game player did very big mistakes which couldnt been accepted in such level of performance. Of course, with Luyindama been in position sense responsible for loss, actual reason being regardless movement on leg to chest of opponent which led for Mbiaye Diagne to get red card which led them to lose balance and allowed Besiktas to show much more forward seeking game hence finding 2 goals.
Therefore with Galatasaray not being on their best day in this derby game, it needs to be noted that direct reason it did lose were Luyindama and Diagne led for losing game.
