Fenerbahce had calm game against Kayserispor.

Fenerbahce has got comfortable game during Turkish Cup last 16 2nd leg game against Kayserispor as it controlled whole game in sense of pace which mainly took place due of opponent providing not any threat during whole game.

With getting such comfortable scoreline, Fenerbahce has managed to get to the Turkish Cup quarter-final ticket at the same scoreline after providing not specifically dissapointing but pretty ineffective peformance during 1st leg game, but it provided much more fast tempo game especially during 1st half. With Kayserispor not providing any resistance towards Fenerbahce, quite naturally for them to reduce tempo during 2nd half and providing control of the game. Its been especially important for Ferdi Kadioglu and Mevlut Erdinc since both didnt get much playing time during this season and hence their had managed to send important message to head coach Ersun Yanal that their ready to be selected at regular place but also more importantly it would needed to get result to keep themselves highly motivated. Right now Fenerbahce would be looking forward to Basaksehirspor league game which it needs to win if it wants to get league title.

Kayserispor meanwhile did provide very poor performance without providing any response to Fenerbahce performance and does look to be at very difficult condition in the league and it would be hard for them to stay at the league both performance wise and internal issues.

Fenerbahce would be glad to end this tie without much issues and getting into quarter-final with getting important confidence prior to crucial games coming up in the league.

Besiktas would need to show much more confident performance against Sivasspor.

Besikas would be coming back to its Turkish Cup last 16 tie against Erzurumspor aiming to turn around 3:2 lost 1st tie with aiming to use its away goal advantage at its home ground and also get its 1st win of 2020.

\It needs to be stated without doubt that Besiktas did have very poor start of this calendar year with losing first to Erzurumspor on 1st leg with 3:2 scoreline and later to very important Super League fixture against leaders with 2:1 scoreline. Therefore, with also getting quarter-final ticket from 1st league side, winning this game could raise motivation and confidence for rest of the season. Erzurumspor which tend to show lately good performance against big sides, would come with self-confidence for this game and with being aiming to show muh more defensive focussed game compare to 1st leg. Besiktas, which would be likely to come out with its main squad would need to provide much more organised attacking game which it lacked to do against Sivasspor. Besiktas are favourites for this game and hence tie but it would need to show strong confident game.

Besiktas without doubt would need to get win both for Turkish Cup continuation and also gaining lacking confidence which it shows this days.

Trabzonspor has appointed Huseyin Cimsir for 1.5 years as club's head coach.

Trabzonspor has appointed Huseyin Cimsir as club's head coach for 1.5 years after Cimsir with providing strong performance in 2 official games with scoring 8 goals and conceding none showing confident strong performance.

There were worries if Cimsir would be able to get good result as it did Unal Karaman due of some internal issues which club is right now but it needs to be noted that he even shows better performance then Karaman and has gained trust from team administration and supporters. He has created team which always looks for high level attacking game always looking for chances and more importantly looks for now to solve defensive issue which seems to be issue in all games this season. This being his 1st head coach position, Cimsir for now did provide that he is capable to fight for league title as their are without doubt one of the main title contenders in this season.

Time would show if he would carry on this performance but he did get high amount of trust and support from club with this contract.
