Fenerbahce did get important 3 points despite of poor performance.
Fenerbahce has managed to win Super League 18th week game against Gaziantep with 2:0 scoreline despite of providing pretty poor performance in away game but has managed to convert two key opportunities.
In all fairness, apart of scoreline which has been important 3 points for Fenerbahce but it needs to be noted that team didnt provide very good performance and to some extend it could be stated that opponent especially during 2nd half its been team which did deserve to win game. In most part of the game, Fenerbahce has failed to raise tempo and control ball in high level and did lets its opponent to control game. One of the positive factors which it could be noted for side tht it did provide some positive attitude to the game and did get important win during bad results but this 3 points could be without doubt could play crucial role of the game. It needs to be reminded that Fenerbahce would be playing against its direct title opponents, Basaksehirspor and Trabzonspor back-to-back, and its need to improve its performance for sure for this games.
Gaziantep despite of losing game it needs to be praised an attitude and fighting spirit after conceding goal and did lack that last touch during this game but this performance would turn around into positive factors for upcoming weeks.
As been noted, Fenerbahce did provide bad performance but did get good outcome prior to crucial 2 weeks important games and most important stays as title contenders.
Sivasspor does come out to Besiktas as favourites.
Without doubt most important week during this week would be against league leaders Sivasspor against Besiktas who are 7 points behind them and result of this game for sure would have direct impact of rest of the season.
Besiktas 1st game in the league of 2020 would be incredibly test for Besiktas as risk of losing to league leaders would raise point difference to 10 points and also other clubs above them potentially gaining points could lead them with losing high chances for league title. Trabzonspor head coach Huseyin Cimsir following 2:0 win against Denizlispor at Turkish Cup, would come out this time against Kasimpasa in his 1st league game in new club as his favourite for this game.
Even if Kasimpasa tends to be classical mediocre results in its league, it does get occassionally good performances and results against big 4 clubs as it gets different motivated to this games, but as it tends to be noted in this season at our blog, as long as Trabzonspor would be aiming to provide its strong and confident performance it would be needed to get strong result with having high attacks which it tends to show this season but it does need to be focussed to be careful with defence as their opponents have players who can found goal. Therefore, even if it does come out as clear favourites, Kasimpasa is kind of side which could provide good test for Cimsir if he can show good competitive game in Super League as its being one of the classical teams and could be good tactical test for Cimsir. Trabzonspor also needs to show good performance with good results against Kasimpasa with providing effective tactical decision.
