Sivasspor made clear why their are league leaders
Sivasspor win during Super League 18th week game win against with 2:1 scoreline against Besiktas, especially playing during last 30 minutes of the game with 10 men has proved once again that their are not leaders in the league by chance.
When coming to Besiktas, it didnt provide very strong performance which would be expected from big club in the home ground especially when coming to playing against league leaders. Prior to game, our blog has mentioned that Besiktas does have advantage during game since it can go through this pressure, but in suprising manner it was other way round. Rather then providing much more confident controllable calm game especially after opponent got red card, but it has shown very panic football which prevented to get very good chances. Meanwhile, Besiktas goalkeeper Loris Karius with conceding 1st goal from Yesiltas on 7th minute without saving ball which he could have saved without much problems, didnt manage to save and hence played direct role with team losing this crucial game. Without doubt, this performance will not provide much hope for the rest of the season especially if it would provide similar performance when playing against direct title contenders. Besiktas does need to take lessons and see ways how it would be improve in upcoming games.
Sivasspor without doubt has provided strong fighting spirit but in same has shown strong focus towards games which led them to get this important win. Sivasspor does provide eye-pleasing focussed game with aim to get title and team to beat for sure.
Sivasspor in overall did look more like title contender then Besiktas and has proven everyone that its not leader by chance in this league.
Trabzonspor has dominated game against Kasimpasa
Trabzonspor has got very comfortartable win against Kasimpasa with 6:0 scoreline during Super League 18th week game and hence led for its head coach Huseyin Cimsir to prove himself to provide positive football and push forward team ahead.
Without doubt key moment of the game has been free-kick goal from Jose Sosa on 25th minute which led for goals to come back as Trabzonspor didnt provide very effective game prior to that goal with Kasimpasa on their hand didnt also provide strong game. With finding 1st goal, 2 more has come in duration of 4 minutes which has led for team to get much more comfortable and carry on providing goal hungry performance from Trabzonspor which led them to win game with 6:0 scoreline with key player Alexander Sorloth with providing strong performance focussed into creating chances and dominating game. With that outcome Trabzonspor did start 2020 with finding 8 goals, including Turkish Cup, but most importantly for them didnt conceded single goal which does show that it did solve for now at least an issue with conceding goals.
Kasimpaas meanwhile did provide very poor performance especially at defence with making high amount of the mistakes with also being not being able to provide strong attacking game. In overall team been very ineffective which led them to lose such badly and it needs to improve a lot in upcoming days.
Trabzonspor without doubt did start 2020 in perfect manner and showed that Huseyin Cimsir could get fight for league title this season.
Galatasaray has provided much more closer to team-wise performance.
Galatasaray did get very important win without doubt against Denizlispor, as other results could lead them to be further from title race but it needs to be noted that it did have some issues and could lose 2 points in 2nd half.
Galatasaray did promise for some drastic changes after mid-season break and it did come with different squad with some players returning into squad and also some new signed players which led for good performance especially during 1st half. Marcelo Saracchi which been seen for now one of the important transfers did show some quality during game with providing good assists to Emre Akbaba who has in his part scored 2 games back to back after returning from injury. Saracchi with such good performance does provide high hopes for upcoming weeks. Still, having some issues during 2nd half does mean that it needs to find ways to improve for 2nd half to keep title chances arrive and possible finding defender during this transfer window. Galatasaray still showed signs of fighting spirit which wasnt seen in 1st half of season.
Denizlispor needs to be praised for aiming to show strong comeback with providing positive game during 2nd half but it is been too late for them to aim to comeback after 2:0 but still did show some good performance,
Galatasaray still got good performance and made one step closer for its team-wise performance which Fatih Terim aims for.
