Today's starting 11 player at Fenerbahce didnt provide look of competitive side.
Turkish Cup last 16 1st leg game between Kayserispor and Fenerbahce has ended with goalless draw with both sides has failed to provide strong performance on the day with being pretty slow game and lack of the chances especially from Fenerbahce during game.
It needs to be noted that Fenerbahce did start game with low number of the players who regularly did come out with squad who are not regular starting 11 during today's game, which led for strong performance from players performances with teamwise and led some whole side with high number of misunderstanding which was visible during game. It needs to be stated that many players in today's starting 11 didnt show performance which could lead for them to be at starting 11 in upcoming weeks during its road for league title. It did provide especially slow performance in the game especially at the midfielder selection which led for high number of mistakes with passes on that area. It does look like players in those area didnt provide strong confident performance without showing strong team style performance.
Meanwhile, Kayserispor who does have serious issues at internal and externally level, it was important for them to get 0:0 scoreline from such important opponent even if their didnt come out with strongest squad. Kayserispor most important provided good performance and provides some hopes for rest of the season.
Fenerbahce didnt provide much fast paced game due of this starting 11 not being used to each other and made it clear that those players need to improve with their performances in upcoming training session.
Galatasaray will aim to start 2020 at high note.
Galatasaray is going to start its 2020 year with Turkish Cup last 16 1st leg game against Rizespor at the game where it would be hoping to get very good outcome following not very good performance in this season in league.
Even through team is being 10 points behind league leaders, it still looks to win title and to addition to that aims also to get Turkish Cup hence repeating its outcome from last season. Even through league is related to factors provided from its opponents, cup as with everyone is related into how their would be responding. Stating that it would be playing against team, Rizespor, which would be expected to put Turkish Cup also among its main priorities in this season for sure, and hence it will not be easy task for them. Galatasaray would also good opportunity to provide some playing time to its newly signed players in this mid-season and see how their would be performing in competitive game.
Galatasaray will be coming as favourites but Rizespor would be expected to provide strong and organised game providing issues to them.
Besiktas will play against difficult winter condition at Erzurum
Besiktas would be starting its 2020 competitive year with 1st league opponent Erzurumspor during Turkish Cup last 16 1st leg game which as remembered did provide some good performance in Super League last season.
With Besiktas having mixture of the year during 2019, it would be hoping to provide much better performance in this year and would be aiming to provide strong performance against Erzurumspor. With playing away its first game, it would be expected for Besiktas to have tough game against Erzurumspor due of weather condition which would be present during game. Their is possibility to of opponent for side to become some chances to younger players by Abdullah Avci, but in same this is being first game after mid-season break he could be considering to give chances to all players. It does look like that main opponent would be weather condition for Besiktas and Erzurumspor could use that opportunity to get good score prior to 2nd leg.
Besiktas are favourites but playing games in winter at Erzurum are not very good option and hence their would have some potential difficulties.
