Galatasaray has got an easy win against Kasimpasa.
Galatasaray has got an important and very comfortable win against Kasimpasa during Super League 22nd week game as their opponents has failed to provide any resistance to Istanbul giants especially after scoring themselves goal.
Due of difficult game against Benfica during Europa League 2nd round 1st leg game, Galatasaray was coming out to the game still as strong favourite but it wasnt expected to have such comfortable and easy win. One of the main players of the game has been without doubt Sofiane Feghouli who has scored hat-trick and did manage to find high quality goals and has been really into among Younes Belhanda who is showing very good performance during last games. It was important in sense of self-belief to get such comfortable win against Kasimpasa and stay at the title race close to Basaksehirspor and reduce to 3 point difference even through their opponents have game in hand. Galatasaray did provide an effective game but as been stated Kasimpasa poor performance during last weeks has played also an important role for this outcome. It needs to be reminded only that 2nd leg game against Benfica will not be enough and Galatasaray with such performance will not be able to turn around game.
Kasimpasa are carrying on providing very poor performance during 2nd half of the season as only few months ago we were discussing team as title contender from standings perspective. Without doubt, losing Diagne and Eduok during mid-season transfer window has affected to team and now Mustafa Denizli needs to find solution and start getting results.
Galatasaray has got an important win and carries on its title race with reducing 3 points with an extra game against Basaksehirspor with 12 games left at the season and can now provide all its focus to turn around tie against Benfica at Europa League.
Trabzonspor didnt provide much creativity against Alanyaspor.
Trabzonspor didnt manage to beat in-form Alanyaspor during Super League 22nd week game with 2:0 scoreline and didnt provide a very good performance especially after Hugo Rodallega didnt convert goal during penalty kick at start of 2nd half.
It needs to be noted that Trabzonspor has been side which has controlled game and had high possession but taking account that Alanyaspor has provided mainly defensive tactics for this game and also lack of creativity at the attack of the Trabzonspor didnt allow them to convert high possession into winning scoreline. As been noted, Trabzonspor main aspect of the game has been lack of creativity and it had provided pretty monotonic game without creating too much chances. It needs to be also stated that Trabzonspor did have a good opportunity to get leadership of the game, as Hugo Rodallega recieved penalty kick at the start of the 2nd half but he has decided to provide risky Panenka shot which has come from upper cross at the moment. It needs to be noted that Trabzonspor quite interesting has lost concentration of the game after penalty kick and has conceded goal almost from straight-away from Alanyaspor counter-attack by Cisse who also scored again after 12th minutes. Trabzonspor did look one who has controlled game but it has lacked quality game and didnt do much to get a win which is worrying image as their are now 12 points behind leaders Basaksehirspor.
Alanyaspor meanwhile has provided pretty good and effective game with focussing into defence and didnt allow for opposites to create many chances and has used their chances pretty effective. It is certain that Alanyaspor are showing great performance with Sergen Yalcin at head coach position and this win would provide high amount of motivation.
Trabzonspor did look that it has lacked self-belief during today's game and among getting further from title, it has also risk of getting further from Europa League spots and hence it needs to aim to improve performance.
Fenerbahce needs to find solution of its crises at Super League as soon as it can.
Despite of gaining high amount of confidence during Europa League 2nd round 1st leg game against Zenit, when it has returned to Super League Fenerbahce has provided much again poor performance as it has drawn against Konyaspor who had less player for almost an hour.
It was expected foremost that goal which was scored by Islam Slimani would provide a big confidence and self-belief for the player during upcoming games but he didnt manage to get into game at all against Konyaspor making too much mistakes and also self-belief and not losing any concentraiton of Konyaspor after recieving red card has played an important role. Meanwhile, it was another poor performance by referees, this time Firat Aydinus, who has made wrong decision of not sending off Martin Skrtel who has entered to opponent player with both legs out of field and also showing wrong red card to the opponent. Fenerbahce are now at 15th place with same points of Ankaragucu who are on relegated zone, while Bursaspor also has 24 points. Team is finding itself at very difficult position right now, and hence needs to wake up urgently even through not forgetting about Europa League who are for now is good opportunity to turn around their season at high note. Fenerbahce needs to focus each game one-by-one and aim to provide its best performance, with focus to Zenit until 21st February.
Fenerbahce needs to raise its confidence as it still needs to get 4-5 wins at least to sucure for sure its place at Super League for next season and find solution for this crises team is at.
