Besiktas does have an attacking issue which was visible during game against Malmo.
Besiktas has failed to show any reaction towards Swedish side Malmo when it has conceded 2 goals during Europa League 2nd week game and does show in overall that its main problem seems to be lack of central-attacker at the squad.
It needs to be stated that Besiktas has created number of the chances during 1st half of the game showing pretty active game and creating chances but even during that period it was missing that dominant performance which we were used to see in previous season, especially at Champions League. Besiktas player Vagner Love who is right now a main forward player at the squad didnt manage to show well enough attacking game and didnt use number of the chnaces. Meanwhile, as been mentioned at the blog entry yesterday, Caner Erkin has become key person for Besiktas loss due of unlucky reflection from the ball which went to goal and also creating penalty. Loris Karius has also shown poor performance with unexpected mistake during 1st conceded goal. The main worrying aspect of the game was for Besiktas have lack of showing strong reaction of the conceding goals and allowed Malmo to control game towards end of the game in similar manner.
Besiktas did provide unexpected result and does need to recognise why those game has been lost and needs to identify how to solve an attacking problem right now at the squad.
Fenerbahce has got very important win for morale and confidence.
Putting aside the factor that Spartak Trnava was uncapable to show top level performance and has been focussed too much into passive defensive game, it needs to be stated that Fenerbahce has got an important win both for the aims at Europa League and more importantly for morale and confidence.
It is hard to state that Fenerbahce has shown great game but it was to some extend expectable from them due of hard pressure which players are experienced due of the recent results and it was seen that this affected to team until 56th minute when Islam Slimani has found his 1st goal. With Slimani goal, team did become more relaxed and has started playing much more active game. Meanwhile, it was also important for Islam Slimani to find those two goals as with his willingness to score but not being to convert it did provide an extra pressure for himself, and he did overpass it for sure with this two goals at the game. Still, it wasnt best squad for Fenerbahce when it came out to game and two players which did turn around showing good game has been Islam Slimani and Elijif Elmas while other players didnt look to be very confident at the game. It is now important for Fenerbahce to carry on this performance at the group as their found once again at the control of the group.
Fenerbahce also need to find chances how to get a win against Basaksehirspor as performance yesterday could not be enough but with getting higher morale it has capacity to show good performance on 7th October.
Akhisarspor shows great positive game at Europa League.
Akhisarspor as been stated at blog yesterday carries on showing good performance with showing fearless and attacking game against its opponents, this time against Belgian side Standard Liege and does look confident despite of loss.
One of the key factors which was observable from Akhisarspor both in Krasnodar and Standard Liege, that it doesnt look to show any fear towards its opponents and aim to show good looking performance and this factor has led team to find its 1st goal at the tournament with help of the Onur Atik. It is important to note that most players, apart of Yevhen Seleznyov, dont have much experience at this field and despite of that that their are showing this kind of performance. With also Cihat Arslan being appointed as club's head coach has affected to team in positive manner as their had shown some good performance in recent games and in fact could provide some difficult time towards Trabzonspor on 7th October and does show good performance for future.
Akhisarspor coming out to the Europa League with low chances to get good results didnt provide too much defensive game and shows proud game which would provide lots of gains to the side even if it ends with 0 points group stage.
