Galatasaray would play outside Turkey against Porto which is problematic due of ongoing away game phobia.
Galatasaray is going to resume their Champions League campaign against Porto during Champions League Group D 2nd week game and has an opportunity to make their leadership stronger if their manage to win game.
But it needs to be reminded that Galatasaray is currently struggling with away game phobia which would even show itself even more at the away game outside Turkey and might even show its factor even much stronger. Without doubt Galatasaray head coach Fatih Terim while preparing for this game, main priority has been to find solution to this as he would be presenting his best squad which it has in its hands. Meanwhile, their opponents are missing ex-Besiktas player Vincent Aboubakar which is seen as main goal-scorer at the team and in similar manner to Galatasaray their dont have much attackers at its disposal. This factor could turn into as strong advantage to Istanbul side. It needs to be stated that Porto shows similar style of game compare to Lokomotiv Moscow but does have more stronger quality of players, so similar performance of Galatasaray against Lokomotiv could do trick but in better performing manner for sure. Galatasaray meanwhile is missing Emre Akbaba which could provide negatively to team as he does have good goal scoring skills.
What is more important for Galatasaray is not continue its away game phobia but playing outside Turkey this game could be even more difficult and it could have an important issues.
Fenerbahce crises with Phillip Cocu continues with a team.
Fenerbahce head coach Phillip Cocu future at the team is still being unclear but it does look like club CEO Ali Koc is also going into strong consideration to end career with him with waiting for international national team break.
It is been reported that Fenerbahce CEO Ali Koc does consider to make an important decision regarding of this issue right now as their also names coming out for Aykut Kocaman, Ersun Yanal at the media, fans and also inside administration according to some reports. In fact, there is rumours that Ali Koc has asked Cocu to resign at the meeting yesterday but Dutch coach has refused to do so, which does raise problematic issue as it would mean that club would need to pay compensation which it also continues to do so towards previous 3 coaches. Meanwhile, patience at Turkish media and supporters with Fenerbahce having its worst season ever with getting only 7 points at 3-point system and no signs that team would improve in upcoming games does raise an important issue. With Ali Koc stating earlier that he would wait until mid-season break it does look like this consideration to get rid of Cocu and possibly Camelli would be done in next week as crises at the team.
Ali Koc has experienced 1st big crises at his team without even spending his honey moon with team in high notice and how he would solve issue with an improvement of performance would become in upcoming days.
Adem Buyuk states that Abdullah Avci agressively pushed him after game.
One of the most discussed events which happened during Super League games which were played yesterday was Yeni Malatyaspor player Adem Buyuk statements that Basaksehirspor head coach
Abdullah Avci has agressively pushed him after game between both sides during 7th week game.
Yeni Malatyaspor player Adem Buyuk has stated that following game both him and Avci had heated argument about game and opponent coach has provided very strong foul language which he cant even repeat on the air and then has pushed himself at the back. Basaksehirspor head coach Abdullah Avci later has stated that events didnt develop like that and stated that he doesnt to report Adem Buyuk for this event. If this comment are true from Adem Buyuk, who also states that he lost all respect to Avci, than its very unusual for Avci to do such an action due of his known calm stance but it could have happen, even if not acceptable, from stress of losing 2 points and losing chance to regain its leadership at the end of the week. Since all this events happened outside of field none of the parties would be send to PFDK but its clear that additional works needs to be done of this incident as it could have some important problems in the future.
Once again, if Abdullah Avci did do such an action its totally unacceptable but their must be answered some questions of why this take place at 1st place with both sides likely to apologize themselves in upcoming days.
