Trabzonspor has provided poor performance against Erzurumspor
Trabzonspor are continues to show unstable performance at the Super League as this time it didnt manage to get a win against troubled Erzurumspor as game ended with goalless draw as an opponent has shown much more attacking game.
Trabzonspor did come out to the game aiming to get 1st time during this season 3 wins back-to-back and to all respect of their opponent, Erzurumspor, their had chances to get this win if their played in same manner as their did. But it was observed so far during this season that team did perform pretty poorly after national team break and couldnt get into needed level of performance. Trabzonspor in fact has continued poor performance of big 4 teams which has been shown during this week. Meanwhile, even through we do see that Erzurumspor as side in normal days cant compete against Trabzonspor, on the game their have shown great performance with providing very good fighting spirit and with bit more level of performance could even get a win on the day.
Trabzonspor underperformed despite of getting number of the chances with Hugo Rodallega but even he wasnt in the level which we saw in previous games this season and Trabzonspor has lost an opportunity to be 3 points behind league leaders Galatasaray.
Galatasaray would play against struggling Schalke 04 with missing 5 players due of injury.
Galatasaray would be returning to Champions League as it would be playing against Schalke 04 at Group D 3rd week game, as German side are struggling to provide good performance at Bundesliga and lack finding goals.
On other hand, Galatasaray does have high number of the injured players which been existed prior to Bursaspor game and has been raised even more after that dramatic 1st half which led for 3 substitutes. There are still good news which is that Ryan Donk and Serdar Aziz are have been recovered from their injuries and could be at starting 11 at the game. It could be stated that with situation which both Galatasaray and Schalke 04 are right now, their are lucky to get their opponents with this condition. Stating that and taking account of morale of teams, Galatasaray does have better advantage as their in better condition as their will be playing as league leaders in national league. This however, could be misleading as teams, especially from football nations, tend to provide much better performance at Champions League when things are not going well at domestically so Schalke 04 can provide some difficulty for Galatasaray which its need to be ready for.
Galatasaray does look to be favourite but it would be difficult game and their need to stay focus for whole game for sure.
Besiktas does seem to be have internal issues even through everyone at club declines it.
Future of Besiktas head coach Senol Gunes, due of poor results and also that passion which was seen with coach and players in previous season has come to uncertainty and could lead to some disagreements.
Even through club did state that their is no problem between club and administrators as it did in previous seasons it is aware that Besiktas are not in same level both physically and mentally which could also be due of talks about salaries. Their are rumours that Besiktas head coach Senol Gunes seems to be unhappy for his salary to be changed to TL with 5.2 euro exchange rate but it needs to be stated that today announced from Senol Gunes manager Deniz Turkey states that team didnt even discuss about this issue with club and hence cant be talks. With rumours that also Oguzhan Ozyakup and Tolgay Arslan dont want for salary to be changed as their have dual nationality and hence see themselves also as foreign player did come out but again both club and Oguzhan Ozyakup has declined that rumour. It does look team seems to be at small crises and this could reflect to performance of the team.
Besiktas does have an opportunity to raise its mood and focus with good result at Europa League against Genk through and would be aiming to show good game for certain.
