Senol Gunes is unhappy how transfer was managed this summer.
Besiktas head coach Senol Gunes at his interview to the Turkish sports channel has made it clear that he is unhappy how team's administration has been doing its job during this summer transfer window, stating that it wasnt enough.
He had criticised administration for not doing enough transfers and also not keeping its players especially ones who had played an important role for the league title. He was specifically unhappy with selling of the last season stars Jose Sosa and Mario Gomez. He stated that communication between Jose Sosa has been taking with administration and he knew developments only through the media. This statements made it clear that he is unhappy with his current squad and hence, through media, demands much more transfers namely at the defence and goalkeepers stating that their must have 1 foreign and 1 Turkish substitute goalkeeper rather than 2. This statements does surely show that he is uncertain about how he would perform with this team at the league and more importantly at the Champions League.
It is also interesting how would Besiktas administration react to this statements both directly to head coach Senol Gunes and also how it would do its transfer politics in last 2 weeks.
Dick Advocaat is quality head coach but he will need time.
It is now looks to be certain that Fenerbahce new head coach will be Dick Advocaat with official signing taking place tomorrow. The following appointment does raise some questions including his age and not familiarity with Turkish league but he has chances to be successful.
It is known that Advocaat experienced coach and knows how to manage teams at the place of crises, which could taken place during the season as it is normal with every single team at the world. He is focussed to getting at the league title, stating to the Dutch media that he has no other choice. The only problem which there is for such late appointment as the Europa League play-off round against Grasshoppers is taking in 2 days time and on Sunday will be hard opening week game against one of the toughest team at the league Basaksehirspor. Blerim Dzemailli will be transferred to Bologna.
It became clear that Galatasaray has agreed with Bologna for transfer of Blerim Dzemailli with Istanbul side getting 1.3 million transfer fee from player who wanted to leave.
During today statement, Galatasaray administrator Levent Nazifoglu has stated that Dzemailli didnt want to stay at the team and it was necessarily to keep him as he would done some damage. It is expected that official announcement of his transfer to Bologna would be announced in few days time. Blerim Dzemailli who had successful Euro 2016 campain with Switzealand. didnt provide ever to his maximum at the Galatasaray possibly due of not being adapted to team and league. Dzemailli was among players who used terror attacks and attempted coup d'etat card to his advantage to leave and hence with pressure from his wife it was clear that he will not stay around last month.
Galatasaray had very intense transfer negotiations with Bologna, which seemed to be only one to be interested with him and has made final agreement with both sides for 1.3 million euro.
