Galatasaray should have calm game tomorrow against Rizespor.
Focus in the Turkey will be once again given to the Turkish Cup as their will be taken place semi-finals 2nd leg fixtures and even through both games seems to be done and dusted from 1st legs results there still be some areas which should be given attentiont to during the game.
First semi-final 2nd leg game will be between Galatasaray and Rizespor as Galatasaray does seem to take Turkish Cup as the chance for the road to the Europa League next season and hence go through ban given by UEFA. The 1st leg has been won by them in Rize with 3:1 scoreline which means that Rizespor needs to find 3 goals in Istanbul. As long as Galatasaray will not make unexpected mistakes and concede goals earlier it should be calm game with the game against Besiktas coming up this weekend, which is as important to them as to Besiktas due of Europa League aims. Rizespor meanwhile does need to start the game in very attacking manner if it wants to bring big upset and surprise to Galatasaray tomorrow.
It became clear that Galatasaray player Wesley Snejder as he plans to stay safe for upcoming game against Besiktas will not play at tomorrow's game and once again showing that this derby game is important for a team. As long as Galatasaray controls game tomorrow it should have calm 90 minutes for them.
Sergen Yalcin appointment at Gaziantepspor at most difficult time any coach can expect
Gaziantepspor has appointed its new coach Sergen Yalcin until end of the season with an option to extend his contract for next year. This option is very likely to be used if Yalcin manages to keep team at the Super League for next season.
With 3 games left at the league, Gaziantepspor has 3 point advantage from drop zone and will play against Eskisehirspor who is at drop zone this weekend. If Eskisehirspor manages to win with the advantage it might throw Gaziantepspor to relegation zone with 2 games left.There is some expectation that new head coach factor might provide extra push to the team however it needs to be aware that Eskisehirspor has improved its performance in last few weeks. Sergen Yalcin appointment has come into very tough times and he needs to provide as soon as possible, and hence he will have difficult period for him.
Sergen Yalcin has been in similar area earlier so he has experience to save teams from drop zone and with 3 point advantage the task is very possible but mistake at one game could lead him and team to be eliminated.
Robin van Persie is becoming key player for last 3 games for Fenerbahce.
Fenerbahce player Robin van Persie has shown an impressive improvement at his performance in the last weeks which played an important role also with comfortable results and providing strong message that Fenerbahce is still fighting for league title strongly.
During 31st week game against Gaziantepspor, Robin van Persie was the best player by far with 2 goals and 1 assist and showing during whole game that he want to create chances and score them.
One of the big advantage of him is having much better training sessions and reduction of injuries since winter. He start showing more willingness into getting to positions and also fixed misunderstanding problems with head coach Vitor Pereira. Robin van Persie is becoming a key player for the road for league title in last 3 weeks and will surely play an important role if it manages to get title.
Van Persie was among dissapointments at the start of the season but now he starts performing in a way that club was wanting for him to compete when purchasing last summer.
