Turkish National Team has shown good performance against England despite loss.
Turkish National Team has started its final pre-Euro 2016 period with a good game against England despite of losing with 2:1 scoreline. Turkish National Team has always had trouble against England and after 11 games still didnt win single game against them but it provided game at equal levels yesterday.
Saying that it is important to note that England, has played without some key players at the squad, didnt provide its best football however the point that Turkey was able to keep them into control and provide game at similar level as them was a big plus. It needs to be reminded once again that Hakan Calhanoglu has went into Turkish football history books by becoming first player to score against England at Turkish National Team. The following game meanwhile was great game prior to Euro 2016 final competition in France as their opponents has tested how players would react to top players style of game. Main positive matter of the game that despite of start of the game and parts of 2nd half, for most time Turkey was able to play into same level tempo as did England and sometimes even having better control.
Also remembering that important players of Turkey like Arda Turan and Burak Yilmaz were not available yesterday it was pretty good game. Next friendly will be against Montenegro, weaker team compare to England but still great chance for players to prove themselves before Fatih Terim announces final squad for Euro2016.
Karcemarskas leaves Gaziantepspor after 7 years at the team
Gaziantepspor goalkeeper Zygras Karcemarskas has left his team after 7 years as his contract with club is over. Karcemarskas despite of playing at mediocre side has become one of the best goalkeepers at the league and surely would provide some question to the Gaziantepspor goalkeeper position for next season.
By the way, around two days ago there were arleady rumours coming out that Besiktas might consider to sign Zygras Karcemarskas but again with similar manner of Denis Boyko it is questionable if Karcemarskas would like to be 2nd goalkeeper at the team. Coming back to Gaziantepspor performance, he made an incredible performances by saving goals and played an important role for team to always stay at the middle of the table and rarely having relegation scare at the team during his stay at the 7 years.
It would be hard to replace Karcemarskas for Gaziantepspor but since it was aware of the end of the contract few time ago, it is surely team was prepared for this. One thing is certain it needs to find similar goalkeeper level with taking account its economical condition.
Trabzonspor are close to sign Adana Demirspor player Attamah
There are rumours going around at the Turkish media that Trabzonspor has signed Adana Demirspor player Attamah who was one of the key players at the team during its 1st league season. Trabzonspor aims to transfer him for 4 years.
Attamah is one of the best players of the 1st league and has in fact take high attention from number of the clubs in the Turkey at both league tiers. He had played an important role with his performance to help team end at 4th place and might even raise to the Super League as team is currently playing at the play-off stage of the 1st league which might decide 3rd team to be promoted to Super League next season. Trabzonspor interest on him is also surely been motivated by low-cost as it needs to make lots of transfers with limited amount of cash due of agreement with UEFA.
Attamah transfer to Trabzonspor would be good option to each party, as Attamah will have chance to prove himself at the top league with top team.
