Besiktas lost its chance to make its leadership more stable.
After Fenerbahce has drawn with Osmanslispor yesterday, Besiktas has lost against Kasimpasa with 2:1 scoreline with providing ineffective and slow game today. In fact, with amount of attacks provided by Kasimpasa, Besiktas could have conceded more goals.
From start of the season, Besiktas game was mainly dominated with an attacking and fact-paced football but in today's game it provided mainly slow football and despite of high possession of the ball their have allowed Kasimpasa to create high number of chances. The only player who was to some extend providing decent football was Jose Sosa who has scored only goal by Besiktas and had provided effective crosses to the dangerous areas. As been stated beforehand, this game would not be easy one for Besiktas as Kasimpasa needed to win this game to stay at the intense Europa League spot race and it got to itself very important win. Number of players, especially like Mario Gomez who tend to create great chances and score goals out of nowhere were lacking this characteristic today.
Besiktas didnt also manage to win its last game prior to moving to Vodafone Arena and also more importantly didnt manage to make point difference with Fenerbahce even bigger. Right now Besiktas leads with one game more from Fenerbahce with 3 points and if Fenerbahce wins next 2 games, including Galatasaray, it will get into leadership with goal difference if points will be same.
Meanwhile, Kasimpasa has got an important win as it throws them back into Europa League zone where there is around 6 teams right now. Despite of poor performance in last weeks it has good chance to finish at 4th place and it has strength to achieve that.
Fenerbahce attackers didnt bother much yesterday
Fenerbahce performance at the game against Osmanlispor could be described with a strong defensive play and very poor organisation at the attacks. Even through it led for Fenerbahce not to lose against Osmanlispor, it didnt also allow them to provide an important win for a title race assuming that it was behind Besiktas with 4 points prior to game (with game in hand).
Fenerbahce attackers namely Robin van Persie, Nani, Fernandao and Diego didnt show any motivation and creation fo the chances and when their were created their wasted, especially when
Robin van Persie could not score to empty goal. Fenerbahce attacking, especially taking account into players which their have need to improve and players should get this task much more seriously if their want to be part of the getting title at the end of the season. While defence at the game gave their best during the game it did look like attackers didnt bother to provide anything during the game.
As stated yesterday, it needs to improve drastically if it wants to get important win against Konyaspor, opponent which has best form right now at the league.
Deniz Yilmaz could be selected to Euro2016 if he performs greatly in last 7 weeks.
During today's talk from Bursaspor head coach Hamza Hamzaoglu at the team training session, has stated that Turkish National Team head coach Fatih Terim does look at the performance of his player Deniz Yilmaz even through he needs to improve a lot in the last 7 games of the season.
Deniz Yilmaz has scored two important goals at the game against Sivasspor and has in fact shown top performance at the game however it is hard to say that he keeps this performance at the team in general this season. However, Yilmaz has great skills especially at crossing balls and getting into attacks and is quite suitable to the system played by Turkish National Team. As it is known every single player has a chance to get to national team and last 7 weeks at the Super League would be decider for high number of undecided players to national team squad, and with this taking account it would surely affect positively to performance level of the league.
Turkish National Team is still building into perfect squad which Fatih Terim prepares for Euro2016 and surely he would look only for best players which can achieve a lot in France. Deniz Yilmaz has potentiality to be selected but its all in his hands.
