Fenerbahce poor performances by attackers has lost them 2 important points.
Fenerbahce has lost important 2 points at the 27th week Super League game against Osmanlispor which has ended with 0:0 scoreline. The main reason which could be related for Fenerbahce not recieving very important goals and points is due of lack of the attackers at converting their chances, especially by Robin van Persie.
The game was manipulated by good defence performances by both teams which in return had lower number of attacks by the both sides. The game itself was actually could be shortly described as organised defence by both teams and poor performance by attackers. Even through Fenerbahce has got more attacks than Osmanlispor especially attacks by Robin van Persie, Nani, Diego and Kjaer, it was observed that the problem with last touch has led for goal not to come. Fenerbahce during whole season has an average of one goal per game which arleady shows that it had issues at attacks and with playing against organised team at the back today has led them not to find a goal at its home for first time during this season. Positive note, which was observed in whole season, is that it only provide half chance to the Osmanlispor, and hence shows that Fenerbahce mainly needs to solve attacking.
Fenerbahce has lost two important points with its attackers providing mediocre performance which needs to be improved if it wants to get league title at the end of the season as the mistakes made right now might not be solved until end of the season. Fenerbahce needs to improve its performances at next week against Konyaspor.
Osmanlispor meanwhile has carried on its top performances at the away once again despite of not having much attacks and generally at the league and gets closer to the Europa League spot in the end of the season. This perfomance will help them get far at this season.
Galatasaray has provided very poor performance against Eskisehirspor
Galatasaray has continued its poor performance at the Super League with this time totally unexpected loss to the last placed Eskisehirspor with 4:3 scoreline, without providing any impressive football despite of the top performance during first 25 minutes.
It became clear during the game yesterday that Galatasaray has very serious defence issues as it made lots of positioning mistakes both by defenders and the midfielders, which allowed Eskisehirspor to find high number of dangerous attacks and in fact could have scored more goals if it had better last touches. Of course, looking at the score it could be stated that Galatasaray has found 3 goals at the away game but it needs to be remembered that the opponent was also without motivation and Galatasaray were leading game twice. It might not be unfair to judge coaches after one game, but Jan Olde Riekering did not pass game from yesterday performance as it was much far away from its normal standarts.
The following performances also raises questions if Galatasaray is ready for game against Fenerbahce on 13th April which is postponed game from 26th week game. With this performance, Fenerbahce should not have much difficulty at winning game.
Last game of Besiktas prior to moving to Vodafone Arena.
Besiktas would return to defending its leadership at the Super League at the tough game against Kasimpasa who are among teams who are fighting for the Europa League spot right now. The danger for Besiktas is mainly far too much focus is given into opening of Vodafone Arena on 11th April which might affect performance.
Besiktas would surely aim to win the game during its fight for the league title and also being last game prior its first game at Vodafone Arena. It would however have a hard game with a strong Kasimpasa which surely would provide some tough times to its opponents and hence it will be important for Besiktas players to stay focussed into game regardless of the scoreline. It is also important to see if club will once again have loss of speed towards last minute of the game which it was observed in last games despite of winning them with ease. Against Kasimpasa it might be important to stay focus for 90 minutes as it doesnt tend to lose concentration even when losing. Besiktas looks as strong favourite but with games being more at stake right now, it is likely that both Besiktas and Fenerbahce will have emotionally hard games at the league.
Kasimpasa meanwhile has also chances of getting games by using home advantage and also try to play its best football without going too much defence. It is hard task to achieve but it is possible and it would be important win as it fights for Europa League 4th spot.
