Besiktas supporters are giving additional force to the team at Vodafone Arena.
One of the main questions during 28th week of the Super League was how would Vodafone Arena affect to the Besiktas in the game against Bursaspor. Even through there were some areas which looked similar to previous games in tactical manner, it became visible that atmosphere which is created by Besiktas fans will provide extra push at its home games.
Besiktas has shown similar reaction to the game from start to end which was visible at the start of the season which fast-paced football and dominating game especially at first minutes of the games.
Taking account that Bursaspor has responded rightly, especially after drawing game to 1:1, it had led for a great game. Besiktas will play two more games at this field until end of the season and this factor would be great bonus for its title race taking account that the team is leading with game in hand with 6 points from Fenerbahce. Vodafone Arena can become where opponents will be afraid to come, as their did to the previous one, Inonu Stadium. Only downside from the game was needless red card by Ricardo Quaresma at the end of the game which was be given to overexerated reaction and hot blooded behaviour by player.
With this win Besiktas, league title is once again in the hand of its destiny as it has one game in hand right now from the set target. We could have great ending of the season.
Fenerbahce needs to win Galatasaray for many reasons.
Surely, derby game against Galatasaray is more crucial for Fenerbahce as apart of focussing to getting positive result and put an end to its two losses it is very crucial for them to stay at the title race and provide pressure to Besiktas. This game would also provide calmness to the team as number of players and administrators are in stressful position.
Even through the league is getting to end and Fenerbahce has lost point in last 2 games, the win against Galatasaray would bring them once again to title race with only deficit of 1 game from Besiktas to last 6 weeks. The win as been stated yesterday at our blog, would also show how safe is place of head coach Vitor Pereira for the next season. Even through performance wise Fenerbahce is in better condition than Galatasaray, mentally right now its in similar area so it could be nerve cracking game but as stated Fenerbahce has more in stake at the game.
Fenerbahce would aim for the win at the game and try its best to dissapoint Galatasaray players and its supporters who are demoralised from this season.
Galatasaray needs to win Fenerbahce if it wants forgiveness from its fans.
In other side, Galatasaray also need drastically win against Fenerbahce at the derby tomorrow. However, if Fenerbahce needs to win to carry on its realistic chances to win league title among psychological, for Galatasaray reasons are solely psychological.
Supporters of the big 4 teams have main expectations from its teams prior to season. First obviously to become champions, secondly to win its main rivals. Since title dreams are over for long time for Galatasaray, the expectation right now to win its main rivals Fenerbahce especially when its opponents needs this win urgently.
